Dear Judo People, While we're on a mission to get the judo social life up a bit I've got a couple more events for your diary This Saturday its James DMS's's's birthday so if you fancy a couple of drinks we'll be in the union from 8pm, come join us! The last ACC Barnight of the year is Wednesday 9th March, same as always £7 all you can drink till it runs out, they've now got more kegs than last time. Always a good laugh and as always you can get tickets from me! I'm still learning to walk again so I won't be there Monday, but see you Wednesday! Hi all, Apologies for the delay in getting back to you, however here are the final details for the event: Friday 8.00pm - Arrive at Tapton School (Darwin Ln, SHEFFIELD, South Yorkshire S10 5RG) 8.00pm - approx 10.00pm - weigh in at Tapton School (this may carry on later if teams arrive late) 10.00pm - 1.00 am - Optional drink at the Fox and Duck (our sponsoring pub - reduced-price drinks should be available!) 1.00am - 7.00am - Overnight stay at Tapton School (we will have mats to sleep on, but please bring sleeping bags, and additional bedding/airbeds/etc if you would like) Saturday 7.00am - Wakeup calls w/airhorns! 7.00am - 8.00am - Additional weigh ins, breakfast at Tapton & clear mats away 8.00am - 8.45am - Head down to Goodwin Sports Centre 8.45am - 9.30am - Final weigh-ins (ideally we don't want to have to do these), setup in hall 9.30am - 4.00pm - Competition (food will be available throughout the day on tables to the side of the hall) 4.00pm - 4.30pm - Medal & trophy presentation 4.30pm - 5.00pm - Clear away 5.00pm - 6.30pm - Head to tapton, shower, change for social 6.30pm - 7.00pm - Head to Fox and Duck 7.00pm - 11.00pm - Food, boat race, social, large quantities of general alcohol consumtion @ the Fox and Duck 11.00pm - 11.30pm - Head to Sheffield Students Union for Poptarts 11.30pm - 2.00am - Exceptionally cheesy music and terrible dancing in Poptarts 2.00am - 2.30am - Head back to Tapton School (optional curry in balti king/chips from Northern Sole) 2.30am - 9.00am - Drunken slumber on Mats Sunday 9.00am - 10.30am - Leave Tapton House School (unless you are bristol, then leaving time is approx 4pm in the afternoon when the driver's sobered up!) Travel for Sheffield 18/02/11

Hi Guys, We're all getting a coach from Victoria up to Sheffield on Friday afternoon for the weigh in which starts Friday evening at 7. The coach most people are getting is at 2.30, getting in at 19.05. It's best not to be much later than this but anyone who can't make 2.30 should get a later one. The return coach is the 09.45 bus on Sunday morning. Please book your tickets asap. The following people have been selected to represent Imperial College as part of a combined London team consisting of Imperial College and ULU. Selection has been made from those players who have been attending recent competitions. If you have not been competing but now feel ready and would like to be considered for future comps, please let us know on Wednesday and we can arrange more contests. Also lighter weight men miss out due to the lowest weight being - 73kg If you are selected and cannot make it, please let us know by Wednesday so that we can find a replacement. Sheffield competition this weekend

Dear All! Well done for Saturday, we got lots of medals and came 2nd overall which is a great achievement. This weekend another competition is coming, a team one in Sheffield. To give you a better idea of the competition please read the attachment. Do not worry about the application and financial parts, notice that it is not only a sport but a social event. The only cost of the competition will be 20 pounds per person to be paid on the day for accommodation, beer, and food. The rest will be subsidised club. The details of transport are being sorted out.
