Hi guys, So after speaking to a lot of you tonight, most people wanted to come to the meal/drinks this Saturday (29th). I'll be booking a table at Wildwood on Gloucester Road for 8.30/9pm, and we'll head out to the pubs or union afterwards. I need to book ASAP so please reply to me to let me know that you can come so I know how big a table to book by Wednesday PM. If you could reply to am13309(a)imperial.ac.uk that'd be great :) Also, it's the first ACC bar night, £7 for 4 pints, and free entry into Metric, £2 entry without drinks. Hi everyone, Just a quick reminder about the London Uni Open competition on 26th November. It's our most local competition and great fun, from novices to black belts, and is a good starting competition whether it's your first or as the start of a warm-up for BUCS, so I need your entries in ASAP please! If you're reading this email and wondering whether you can be bothered to go find your judo license, now is definitely the time to do it! On the more social side, we will be going out for a meal at Wildwood (an Italian on Gloucester road: http://www.wildwoodrestaurants.co.uk/ ) this Saturday evening, a great chance for everyone to get to know each other better, and we'll be going for a pub crawl/union afterwards to continue the joviality, so email back if you want to come along so I know how many to book for! Hope to see loads of you there! On a more booze-related note, we have our first ACC night this Wednesday, for those of you who have just come it's the raucous drinking that joins all sports clubs together, £7 for 4 pints, and free entry. Hi guys, Just a reminder about the London Open Competition which is held in Brunel on the 26th November, £12.50 if you get your entries to me before 30th October, £15 thereafter. This was a great competition last year, lots of laughs and perfect for beginners and getting back into competition mode, so hopefully we can get loads of people entered! Hi Guys, A bunch of us are planning to head down to the ULU Judo Club this Friday. The session they offer is really good, a pretty intense workout and great practice. We're planning to meet in the Imperial Front Entrance (with the big glass front and pillars) at 18:15 on Friday. The ULU session is 19:00 until 21:00 so we'll get the tube as a group there.
