refferee and competition officials course

Dear All, This is just a reminder that on Saturday the 11th of December there will be a referee and competition officials course run by the British Judo Association. It is a unique opportunity to get those qualifications. It will just cost £10 and everyone who is green belt and above could do it. Dear All, For tomorrow session we are meeting at 13.00 at the Budokwai. Hopefully you all know how to get there. For those who will get lost, the address is: 4 Gilston Road, SW10 9SL. There will be a grading that everyone who has a licence can do. Please remember to bring your licence and £7 in cash with you, if you grade. For those who are not grading, the session is still on, we will just divide the mat in 2 after the warm-up. Dear All, Our club number is 5025, the club name is Imperial College Judo Club. You will need that when you will be sending out your licence application forms. For those who have got the licence and want to grade, we will grade on Monday. Hey judo people, As membership officer I've got to compile a database of your names, date of births and licence numbers etc, particularly important for gradings and competitions. Please could you put your details next to the following and replyt to james.gutsell07(a)ic.ac.uk leaving the suject as subject as it is. For those that have just started just put white belt next to grade. As for licences, those that received booklets please fill out your details asap to collect on monday's training, I'll chase you up for the licence numbers when they arrive (I think they'll go to your houses rather than to the union)/ Right, I think that's it. I'm going to apologise now as you'll probs get a similar email a few times more just so I can ensure everyone replies. Dear All! Well done for the Wednesday training, it seems the judo club has never been as strong as this year. The British Judo Association booklets will be given out sometime next week, so be patient and dedicated: your gi are coming! All the Monday trainings will be moved to 8.30 this term, the next one will be tomorrow at ETHOS. Good Morning, I would like to draw your attention to the attached application form, inviting any Judoka with a BJA Grade of 3rd Kyu or above to attend the London Area Junior & Senior Referee and Technical Competition Official Course, on Saturday 11th December. The cost of the course is just £10. With the BJA eager to develop an intra-London University Judo League, it is imperative that we increase the number of student table officials and referees, so we are no longer solely reliant upon the good-will of our existing volunteer workforce. It is my vision that each University will have a minimum of two qualified referees and table officials, to accommodate and sustain any prospective and formalised Wednesday afternoon competition, which I am hopeful to have launched by next academic year. Would you therefore liaise with each of your respective club members, and recruit a minimum of 1-2 students of the required grade to attend the course, ensuring they are subsequently committed to offering their services as a referee. It would be preferable if the applicant were a first or second year student, with a view to utilising them prior to the end of their academic studies. Hi Everybody! We are meeting tomorrow at 12.30 by the library entrance to leave for the Budokwai, better bigger facilities, at 12.40. The session is free. Please come in tracksuit, we will have some spare judo gi with us. After the training we will go to the pub "Goats an Boots" just outside Budokwai.
