For those unaware of the culture of Scotland it is worth bearing in mind that not only is the Borders a beautiful neck of the woods that is considered a tourist destiniation in it's own right, the venue is just 30 miles from Edinburgh, which holds it's annual Fringe Festival throughout August.

Aug 10 - 13th. £12 per day or £36 for the four days (instructors free if they bring five or more students). 10 - 4pm each day.

Instuctors include: G R Mealing 7th Dan; George Temperton (5th dan); Moira Newton (5th Dan) and Tam Hardie (4th Dan JudoScotland). This year there will be a Kendo demonstration as well as an aikido session. Free barbeque and live music on the Saturday. Nominal price for lunch each day. BJC grading up to 1st Dan.
