Hi everyone! Just to let you know the gi's have arrived (incise you didn't already know) and can be collected from us at any of the sessions. Also here is a shameless plug the sinfonietta concert from Duncan: It's Tuesday 9th dec. Playing Berlioz (Including parts of symphonie fantastique) and Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherezade, tickets £2 from Adrienne or Duncan Sessions are running as usual and there is a session this Saturday. So hope to see you there. Also we've been doing quite well in the pub quiz recently (with a 1st and 3rd place). It's Tuesdays (and some Thursdays) after training with money and booze up for grabs! Saturday Night

Dear All, I will be having a little party at my place as I am getting even closer to the 30 mark. So as mentioned at the session on Tuesday, if you fancy coming along drop me an email and I will send you directions to my place and to the club we are going to later and I can put you on the guest list. Plan is 8pm my place, and then Bar Digress before 10pm cos then it is free (5 quid after). Note: If you wanna come to the club, its sorta smart casual, i.e. no trainers. Sessions and Judogis

Firstly we are back to normal next week, Tuesday 5-8, Thursday 5-7 and an advanced session on Saturdays, all in the union gym, do come along. For those of you who bought judogis off us it is going to take a bit longer than expected to get the money out of the union so it will probably be a week thursday at the absolute earliest, unfortunately we seem to have rather upset the twat who is the ACC treasurer and it may be a bit longer, Hope to see you all Tuesday, Duncan

Judo this week

hello, firstly just to remind you that there is no Judo today due to the careers fayre. The union also have the gym this thursday so we are doing a club visit to Southbank Uni. The session is taught by Simone Callender(a commonwealth games gold medallist) and is free so all you have to pay is travel. It finishes at 7:30, everyone is wecome and should be a really good session. We are going to leave in two lots(better a few are late rather than all of us) with the first leaving at 4:30pm. If you can't make that due to lectures, tutorials etc. then the rest of us will be going at 5pm, meet downstairs just inside the union entrance, hope to see you there, duncan

Hi everyone! A few announcements for you: NO JUDO NEXT TUESDAY 11/11/03 The union gym is closed all next week. This is due to the careers fayre, it should be the last interruption for a while. So you don't miss your judo fix there is a session this Saturday for every one 8/11/03 and a club visit on Thursday. - details as follows CLUB VISIT NEXT THURSDAY 13/11/03 We'll be going to South Bank uni judo club. Its taught by Simone Callender - A commonwealth gold medallist. The session is free so you'll just have to pay for travel. We'll meet down stairs in the union to leave at 5pm. The session finishes at 7.30pm. South Bank is in elephant and castle. Everyones welcome and the sessions very good. SATURDAY SESSION THIS SATURDAY 8/11/03 FOR EVERYONE There will be a session this Saturday 1.30pm in the union gym. Everyone is welcome so please come along. Subsequent Saturday sessions will return to being an advanced session. JUDO KITS If you've ordered a kit hopefully we will have them by next Thursday.
