ICSS Membership Cards Ready for Collection ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hello! The **ICSS Membership Cards are now ready for collection**! We will be distributing them starting from **THIS WEDNESDAY (TOMORROW)** at **JCR** from **12-2pm**. Do note that you have to personally come down to collect your cards, please do not ask your friends to collect for you. For those people who have been waiting for the cards, you can collect them straight from the exco members! For those who still want to sign up but have yet to pay, do come too as we'll furnish you with details on signing up for the membership. The ICSS membership cards entitles you to ***fabulous discounts at restaurants ***in Chinatown and Bayswater as well as ***free entries to our wonderful events***!! We will also be collecting more sign ups for Major Event 2010 and Chinese New Year Dinner. So... Chinese New Year Dinner 2010 ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hey everyone! ICSS will be hosting our **annual CNY dinner** this year in **CHINATOWN**! The details are as follows: **Date: 17th February 2010 (Wednesday) Time: 6.30pm to 10pm Venue: TOP OF THE TOWN Chinese Restaurant Address: 37-38 Gerrard Street, London W1D 5QB (it is on the main street in Chinatown) Price: 12pounds per person** **(heavily subsidised by ICSS**) It will be a **8-course + soup + dessert dinner** and includes steamed fish, roasted chicken, fried prawns and stewed beef!!! Entertainment for the night will be a **performance by our own S-ensemble** as well as **karaoke singing** for those who miss K-box. It will be a fun-filled night where ICSS members get to interact and enjoy CNY with your own close friends (and make new ones). Spaces are limited and we will allocate tables on a **FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVED BASIS**. Wilson House Sports 2010 Announcements ----------------------------------------------------------------- ICSS Sports is back for the new year @ Wilson House. It's a cold winter but it only takes a short walk to Wilson House for indoor sports that's **FREE**, so it's definitely worth the trip. After a super good December Holidays, before the schoolwork starts to catch up on you, this is the perfect time to catch up with friends and trade your Holiday’s Tales. It will be a potluck DINNER for you to show us how much your culinary skills have improved – cook absolutely anything! It’s a nice gesture to share. The dinner will be enjoyed around GAMES and Mahjong as old friends trade new stories. This adaptation of Oscar Wilde's ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ will offer the audience a portion of happiness, a slice of romance, but most importantly, a piece of realism. The plot follows two Singaporean couples and their journey to discovering their true picture of happiness. The musical is 100% written, composed and produced by our very own talents.
