Updates Hi everyone, The end of the academic year is in sight! What better way to celebrate than to gather with your friends and come down for a final farewell to all who are graduating this year, by signing up for Seniors' Farewell Party on the 26th of May (Sat)? Major Event 2012 T-Shirts will be given out then! It promises to be an evening full of fun, laughs and reminiscence. But most importantly, this is the final chance in London to surround yourself with friends, many of whom have been as close as family in our second home. Even sooner is the submission deadline for the 30th Anniversary Logo, so do not tarry and put all that free time (for those who have completed their exams) and amazing design skills to good use! Finally, it is rare that we get the chance to engage one of our country's key figures in a personal, face-to-face dialogue setting, on a topic that is increasingly relevant to our generation. The hard truth is that the rise of social media and its impact on society over the past few years has been simply phenomenal. It is a topic close to our hearts and our daily habits. Here are the details for the event: *Date: 25th July 2012 Time: 6:30pm Location: Singapore Polytechnic * Cost: £10 for early bird ticket, £15 at the door The entire session comprises *dinner*, followed by a speech by DPM Teo and a dialogue session on the topic: "Social Media and its Role in Shaping Society".
