Wenjun ----------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Talk Cock Sing Song Play Mahjong (TCSSPM) - 15 Jan 2011 ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hi everybody, TCSSPM is back again! Here are the details of the event: ****Date****: 15th January 2011 (the first Saturday of the term) ****Time****: 6pm to 11pm ****Venue****: EEE 407 ****Highlights****: Potluck, Don’t forget the lyrics, Karaoke competition, Mahjong and other games. **Why you should come:** 1) *Fun with friends*: The event was planned to be on the first Saturday of the new term as it is the time where all of you are fresh from the holidays. So why not come together and meet up with your OG mates, coursemates and other friends. Besides, the start of term exams should be over so it should be time to take a break and have fun. 2) *Potluck*: After a term of cooking, all of you should have become great chefs. So why not take this as a chance to show us your culinary skills and get a taste of other people’s style of cooking. 3) *Mahjong*: There will be mahjong sets for those whose hands are itchy. There will also be poker sets and other games such as monopoly deals. So for those who just want to come for a gathering, a chat over the mahjong table will definitely suit you. 4) *Karaoke*: Kbox in London is expensive but Kbox in TCSSPM is free of charge. Besides, the screen will be the biggest you will ever see for a karaoke setting and the number of people in the karaoke room will make you feel like you are performing in a concert. So for those kbox enthusiasts, do come down and show us your vocal capabilities. 5) *Don’t forget the lyrics*: For those who just want to sit back and relax, the “Don’t forget the lyrics” competition will be the competition to take part. One line of song lyrics and you can win yourself attractive prizes. So why not? 6) *Karaoke competition*: Do I need to say more about this? Thos interested can contact anyone in the Exco to register for it and will be briefed at a later date. For those who are indecisive, just come down for the event, registration will still be opened on that day. See you at TCSSPM! ----------------------------------------------------------------- 3.
