The night will start off with a Chocolate tasting session followed by Games, the Best Costume competition and finally a KBox Session! 2 essential things to take note. 1) SCHOOL THEME: Wear your SCHOOL UNIFORM! There will be a prize for the best costume. If you do not have a school uniform, just wear something that has a school theme to it. It could be your old PE uniform or your old school jacket / hoodie, something that goes along with the theme of the night. CHINESE NEW YEAR! As always, ICSS will be holding its annual traditional Chinese New Year dinner held at **DRAGON CASTLE**. This year, CNY dinner will be like no other. Held on the **3rd day of Chinese new year**, this formal **EIGHT COURSE banquet** setting dinner will provide a great opportunity for everyone to have the CNY experience away from Singapore. Nearest tube station: Elephant and Castle - Take the Piccadilly line to Piccadilly circus and from there change to the Bakerloo line to Elephant & Castle. Directions from the tube station: Walk to the "Shopping Centre" exit. You will pass another train platform, for the Northern Line. >From the Shopping Centre exit, turn left and walk down the main road, keeping left all the way. You will go under a railroad bridge. Dragon Castle is straight ahead, after the first set of traffic lights, on the right. Takes approximately 5 min. Alternatively, take bus from school.
From South Kensington, take 360 to Elephant and Castle Tube Station, and follow the above directions. This takes much longer and it will be more advisable to take a tube.
**How to register:** - A booth will be set up in JCR on Thursday 1-2pm and Friday 12 - 2 pm to receive registration and payment. Members who have yet to collect your ICSS membership card or non-members who are interested in signing up for ICSS membership can also come down during this period. - Registration can also be done through email to icyjing@gmail.com. The **registration and payment** for Chinese New Year Dinner **CLOSES on 24 Jan 2009** (this coming Saturday!). So please act fast to secure your place! Just another remainder that we can reserve a table for you if you form groups of 10s. BUT WAIT! What's this you hear in the distance? Aha! It sounds like the time has finally come for us to shake off the dust from our boots and racket and prepare to fight... London Games is an annual event where Singapore Societies in the UK come together to compete in a day of sports and games and yes, it will be in LONDON.
