Information for Freshers - Spread the love! ----------------------------------------------------------------- It's the time of the year again... New freshers are coming into our big Singaporean family over here in Imperial! If you have any friends who are joining us in the next academic year, please do refer them to our **main Freshers page** at http://www.union.ic.ac.uk/osc/singapore/freshers-info/. We have lovingly compiled the Sotong Guide, various hall accomodations write-ups and events photographs to provide them with a glimpse into our life over here in Imperial. Most importantly, inform them to **register** with us at http://bit.ly/icss_freshers_2011_signup to allow us to contact them for subsequent events we have lined up for them to ease their transition into Imperial College. In addition, a dedicated **ICSS Freshers 2011 Facebook page** is already up and running! Do link any freshers you know to to 'like' our page at http://www.facebook.com/icss.freshers.2011?ref=ts for the latest updates from ICSS, and to get their queries answered by helpful and friendly seniors like us. This is also the platform for them (and all of you as well!) to get to know our latest members of the ICSS family. Disseminate the information. Spread the ICSS love. :) ----------------------------------------------------------------- 2. SPH Universities and Scholarships Fair - Help needed ----------------------------------------------------------------- Singapore Press Holdings will be having its annual Top Universities and Scholarship Fair and we need **you** to publicise Imperial and share your experiences with juniors-to-be at the event! **Date: 17th July 2011 (Sunday) Time: 1000 - 1800 h Venue: Suntec City Convention Centre** You do not have to stay for the whole event. Even if you can only make it for a few hours, it will be useful in ensuring that your course is represented and well publicised! Lunch will be provided. If you are interested, email **Eileen** at vicepresident@ic-singsoc.net by **30th May 2011**. We hope to see you at the event! ----------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Careers @ Singapore ----------------------------------------------------------------- For the second year running, Contact Singapore will be hosting their annual Careers@Singapore event in Singapore on **16 August 2011 (Tuesday)**. Participating employers include: Accenture, Bain & Company, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bloomberg, CapitaLand, ExxonMobil, Gallup, Johnson & Johnson, Keppel, Mapletree, Public Service Division, Robert Half, Singapore Airlines, The Royal Bank of Scotland, and Unilever.
