Post-Production 2011 Note ----------------------------------------------------------------- Dear friends, On behalf of the entire Production Team, a big thank you goes out to all who came down in full force to support Major Event 2011 the previous week! Thank you for giving us this opportunity to stage this entire event and thank you for the memories! We have successfully raised a grand total of £812 for UNICEF charity! For everyone involved in Major Event, spectators and Team members alike, thank you for doing your part in our bid to aid the less fortunate children around the world. Let us also honour the members of the Production Team for their splendid work over the past months. They have done the society proud and have truly flown the ICSS flag high! ICSS Spring Trip (05/03/11) Updates ----------------------------------------------------------------- Dear ICSS members! The ICSS Spring Trip is now ***FULL***. For those who have missed out on the registration, you may still contact Sid at icss.events@gmail.com to be put on the waiting list. To those who have already signed up, you should have received a confirmation personally. Once again, the details for the ICSS Spring Trip is as follows: Date: 5th March, 2011 (Saturday), 8am - 6pm Destination: South-end on Sea! Cost: £10 (to cover the coach hire cost only!) **About the trip** South-end on Sea is a small seaside resort town in east England, and it's best known for its pleasure pier, which also happens to be the world's longest. It also has a world class amusement park, called Adventure Island, which has over 50 rides and has free entry (you have to pay only for the rides!). Besides the main tourist attractions, South-end on sea is a lovely town to explore, and if weather permits, we will also have a society-level picnic in one of their lovely parks! See you all on Saturday! :) ----------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Invitation to join Mission Laos ----------------------------------------------------------------- Dear all, Laos is located in the Far East, a land-locked country neighbouring Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar and China. We are a team of 3 third year Imperial medics comprising a Singaporean, Cypriot and South Korean who are really passionate about the country and it's people, and are extending a special invitation to everyone to be part of the traveling team to Laos this summer. We are looking to have a traveling team of about 18-20 people. If you are interested in a true Asian adventure or wish to volunteer in one of the poorest countries in the world then you simply have to register your interest with us!
