And finally, it seems that whilst we have been mugging our heads off in London, the online and social media in Singapore is, once again, in a frenzy, this time spawning memes as if there's no tomorrow, with each 'faction' having its own supporters and dissenters. The strong voice of the online citizen can clearly no longer be ignored by society, or even by the government. I mean, it seems like for every new issue of the KnT, there is some new incident to be discussed. Surely this is a disturbing trend? How will the government react to this rise of online and social media? How can we turn this into a positive, cohesive force? Honestly, many of our parents' generation are astounded by this pace of change. Perhaps it has come to us to make our views heard. Let's make it happen, at the DPM dialogue. Dialogue Session with DPM Teo Chee Hean Our alumni, the Imperial College Alumni Association of Singapore (ICAAS), will be organising a dialogue session with DPM Teo this coming Summer holiday. Singapore’s newest medical school sees Imperial developing and delivering a course overseas for the first time.
