Kaya and Toast Opening Note ----------------------------------------------------------------- Dear esteemed members of ICSS, Results are out! After a week of intense voting, the 10 pound H&M voucher has found its rightful owner! So here it is, our very first edition of The Weekly Kaya and Toast! Let us hear what our winner, none other than our very own Sports Officer Wong Hong Yi, has to say about his crack at the caption competition: *“Kaya and toast is something Singaporeans can relate to on a personal level. I believe most of you will miss the fabulous Kaya Toast as much as I did. The inspiration came about when I was eating Kaya Toast; it is as simple as that. I hope you will read the Newsletter as eagerly as you would like to eat your Kaya and Toast.”* *Hong Yi* The Weekly Kaya and Toast will be freshly served weekly to your inbox for the duration of the year ahead with an exciting new look! Now, you will not just receive announcements and news from ICSS but from other members as well! We have included a new Shoutbox column where anyone of you can make a short announcement, be it for the selling of stuff, flatmate hunting or even to publicize events you have organized! Along with the Shoutbox column, we have also included a new Events column which will reflect the upcoming ICSS events for your easy reference, as well as a Happenings column which will feature the whackiest news for the week. I would like to extend a big thank you to those who submitted entries for this competition as well as those who voted! We will be looking to improve on what we have currently and any feedback will be greatly appreciated! Keep the ideas flowing! So for now, enjoy your Weekly Kaya and Toast. : ) Wenjun ----------------------------------------------------------------- 2.
