But she faces one big obstacle; she can't speak proper English! Fortunately or not, Hannah eventually meets Augustus, a Professor of Linguistics, who promises to transform her within 6 months, but only on one condition.* *What is this condition? How will he transform her? Will Hannah ever speak proper English? 'My Singapore Girl' puts a Singaporean twist to the classic musical, 'My Fair Lady', and will bring you through the ups and downs of this heartland Singapore girl, as she finds her way towards achieving her dream!* *Come join Hannah in her exciting new journey!* Your excited MEO, Nic (: 3. A Slice of London: Greenwich Hello everyone! There's so much to do in London! If you're willing to venture out of South Kensington and Central London, you will be amazed at the variety of experiences you can find here! (: So if you're finding ideas on what to do over the weekend to get away from work, why not consider heading over to Greenwich for half a day? There's plenty of things to see and amazing food to eat! You can start your trip to Greenwich with the exciting Royal Observatory, where you can learn about the origins of timekeeping. It is really very intriguing to learn about something that we take for granted in our everyday lives, and I found myself totally lost in the exhibition! Of course, the ultimate photo opportunity presents itself through the Prime Meridian Line, which marks 0° longitude and is the reference point for the GMT! While you need to pay to enter the Royal Observatory, there are other free attractions around the observatory! There's the Planetarium for sci-fi movie screenings in a unique setting, free galleries at the Astronomy Centre, as well as the Great Equatorial Telescope which will have you in awe at its sheer size! Right in the heart of Greenwich Park where all of this is located, you will also be able to enjoy great views of London! If you are interested in maritime history, you can also check out the National Maritime Museum, where there are free galleries! If you want to experience how it is like to be on a 19th century sailing ship, you can also explore the Cutty Sark for a price! If all this exploring has made you hungry, then it is definitely a must to head down to the Greenwich Market for plenty of scrumptious food! Featured here are the brazilian churros and the ramen burger - but there is much more to eat than that! There are also plenty of stalls selling art and craft as well as ornaments, I'm sure you will get lost in the maze!
