2. Ah Gong Kaya and Ah Ma Hae Bi Hiam!
Hello Singaporeans!
I have signed up to run the inaugural Brighton Marathon 2010 for WaterAid (http://www.wateraid.org/uk). In the meantime before the event, I would like to raise 600 pounds for them.
WaterAid is an international NGO that is currently working actively in the world's poorest regions to help people gain access to water and sanitation. With 1.1 billion people still lacking access to safe water and sanitation, I think it's a very worthy cause to support.
To raise funds, I will be selling homemade KAYA and HAE BI HIAM (Spicy dried shrimps chilli), using recipe passed down from my Ah Gong and Ah Ma. It's for a good cause, and I don't think you will be too disappointed by the taste!

Both Kaya and Hae Bi Hiam comes in 250 cc containers. Listed below are the prices:
1. 1 x Kaya: £3.50
2. 1 x HBH: £4.80
3. 1 x Kaya + 1 x HBH: £8.00
Yes, I know you're probably thinking, "Siao ah, the prices so KZ, who will buy?"
In actual fact, for each container of Kaya or Hae Bi Hiam that you buy, you are donating £3.00 (sale price - cost price) to WaterAid.
It ONLY takes £15.00 to provide 1 person with a lasting supply of water and safe sanitation. Just buy one less Fred Perry polo tee, one less Onitsuka Tiger, one less Ted Baker shirt or one less Ralph Lauren polo this Boxing Day, and you can make a BIG difference to the lives of many people =D.
