We're more than halfway through Spring Term, and the Easter holidays await, so let's do our best!

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on 1 Mar, Wednesday at 1300-1700 in EEE LT 408. If you wish to attend, you can still sign up HERE before 27 Feb, Monday! Do take note that this is a members-only event, so remember to purchase membership! For those who still wish to run for the 35th ExCo, do refer to the email sent earlier today for more information. Nominations close at 2359, TONIGHT!

Major Event 2017 - Getai has finally come to an end! We would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved, be it the cast, crew or audience! We would never have been able to pull it off without each and everyone of you. Major Event is a non-profit event where all proceeds go to charity, so if you feel strongly for a particular cause, do write to us as majorevent@ic-singsoc.net!

Today is Li Na's birthday! Li is a retired Chinese professional tennis player, who achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 2 on the WTA Tour. She has won 2 Grand Slam Singles titles, the 2011 French Open and the 2014 Australian Open, making her the first and only Asian to have won a Grand Slam singles title. Her feats have sparked a major growth of tennis in East Asia, earning her the reputation as the region's tennis pioneer and trailblazer.

"I really do not think about 'Oh, right now I have to defend those points and this title.' I just really want to enjoy playing on the court, in front of the fans."

If you have not signed up for AGM 2017, you only have slightly more than a day to do it!

The 34th will be reviewing our term and presenting the financial report. Also, don't miss out on the opportunity join in on the hustings for the 35th ExCo elections! The details for AGM are as follows:

We hope that you can come down to support the 34th Exco for our very last event, and also to get to know the candidates who are running for the 35th Exco!

2. Major Event 2017

Major Event 2017 – GETAI, has finally come to an end. Thank you to everyone who came down to watch our performance. We hope that you have enjoyed the show as much as we have enjoyed putting it up for you!

We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to everyone in Team Major Event. You all have contributed so much to this show. Your long hours of hard work and dedication have finally paid off and we really hope that you are proud of what you have accomplished! We also hope that through this journey you have made many unforgettable memories and forged many long-lasting friendships. Despite all the hurdles and challenges we faced, we still came out strong and put up an incredible performance. So thank you, thank you, thank you!!
