1. President's update on OGM
Here's a message from our President, Joshua:
Dear brothers and sisters,On behalf of the 29th ICSS Exco, I would like to thank our members who attended the Ordinary General Meeting held on the 9th of November last Wednesday. I hope that it was a fulfilling experience for you, and that you had the opportunity to be informed about the direction of the ICSS as well as to gain an appreciation of the work the Exco does behind the scenes.
For all who were unable to attend, not to fear! We have uploaded the presentation slides from OGM onto our website at: http ://www . union . ic . ac . uk/osc/singapore/ for your reference. If you have any comments and clarifications, please do not hesitate to contact me directly with your queries.
Once again, to all who attended the OGM, thank you for being present and for your contribution to helping us make this Society a 'home away from home'. And to all our brothers and sisters of the ICSS family, I look forward to meeting you at our upcoming events- especially when we take on the Malaysians in the Who boleh? series in the two coming weeks.

4. Singapore VS Malaysia Round 2: Paintball shootout (26 Nov 2011)
On the 26th of November, Saturday, we've organised an Imperial College Malaysian Society versus Singapore Society paintball tournament! It will be held at Aveley Road, Upminster, Essex, RM14 2TW. Don't worry, the RM there doesn't stand for Malaysian Ringgit; they're not biased in any way.
Justtttt for you, we've organised an exclusive Paintball Package for 23.50 pounds! This includes:
- Bus trip to and fro
- All personal protective equipment, including mask, body armor and black coveralls
- Paintball gun
- 100 free paintballs
You are encouraged to wear loose, comfortable clothing; you will each be given a set of black ninja-style coveralls, so don't worry about the paintballs staining your clothes. Just worry about them bruising your ego, and your butt. Also, the first four letters of paintball is PAIN, so be prepared to take it like a man. Girls may hide behind guys. For maximum effectiveness, choose a large guy.
We will be leaving the Beit Quadrangle at 8.15 am, in order to arrive at the paintball venue by 9.00 am. The venue has food such as hot dogs and hamburgers for sale, but you may also bring a packed lunch. Please note that lunch is not catered for in the 30 pound fee.
If you're interested, please sign up at http ://goo . gl/4HYoz as soon as possible! E-mail Fong at eventsofficer1@ic-singsoc.net if you've any questions!
