Hello everyone!

I hope that everyone is well settled into the term and that the panopto backlog isn't too severe at the moment! :) 

This weekend is our annual Hyde Park Picnic! Look forward to a good afternoon of sports, snacks and board games with us. Details of the event can be found in the post below.

In addition, ICSS is holding our first musical outing this term! We will be heading to Les Miserables. Tickets are limited and are member-exclusive, so do check out the post below for more details! 

Lastly, the MHA and MINDEF will be organizing a career networking session here at Imperial! Any interested Singaporean undergraduates are welcome to register for the event via the link provided below.

Hope everyone had a great summer in the +65 and have now settled back into the grind of the +44! To kick off the ICSS calendar in London for the new academic year, we have the annual Hyde Park Picnic coming up! Hyde Park Picnic is an annual ICSS event where members get to catch up with each other and have fun over sports, games and food! Do RSVP on our Facebook event page HERE and find out more details!

2. ICSS Musical Outing: Les Miserables

Are you still finding your musical buddy in school? Don't worry, ICSS will be organizing a musical trip to watch Les Miserables. Got lo bang must share with friends mah! 

The details of the event are as follows:
Date: 7th November 2018 (Wednesday)
Time: 1930 h 
Venue: Queens Theatre, 51 Shaftesbury Ave, Soho, London W1D6BA
Price: £23 (UP: £90)
Seating Area: Stalls

Ticket sales will go online at noon on 21st October 2018, Sunday

There are only 40 tickets and all are member-exclusive, so please buy our ICSS membership BEFORE the release date of the ticket sales! TICKETS ARE SOLD ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS! ICSS membership can be purchased HERE.

Please take note that filling in this form does not guarantee you a ticket. The first 40 submissions to this form will receive an email with further instructions, so please make sure you look out for that email and complete the final steps! Your ticket will only be guaranteed after you have purchased ICSS membership (or if you are already a member) AND paid for your ticket.

3. Careers@Home: Defense and Security

 
 

Dear all,

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Ministry of Defense (MINDEF) will be holding a MHA-MINDEF Career Networking Session at Imperial College London. This session is for Singaporean undergraduates who are interested in a MINDEF (Civil Service) or MHA mid-term scholarship, internship and career. They provide a wide range of career opportunities, from operations and research analysis, to science and technology development. All degrees and disciplines are welcome.

The details are as follows: 
Date: 15th November 2018 (Thursday)
Time: 6pm - 8pm 
Venue: Skempton LT 201, Imperial College London
Attire: Casual
