Hello everyone!
I hope you're having an excellent week of deadlines and exams so far! I know I have!
We will be having our Singsoc Farewell Party this Friday, 20 May 2016 at 7pm in EEE 5.09. Sign-ups will be closed this Wednesday, 18 May, so do sign-up HERE if you haven't already done so! Come down for a night of food, games and good company!
If you would like to enjoy some FREE FOOD, made by our resident chefs, sign-up HERE by this Wednesday, 18 May! Food will be served on 23 and 24 May, 7pm at SAF 119/120!
Major Event 2017 is still calling scripts! If you are interested in writing a script for ME 2017, email majorevent@ic-singsoc.net by 12 Jun 2016!
Pre-Departure Talk this year will be held on 9 Jul 2016 at Furama Riverfront Hotel, Venus Ballroom! We are still looking for Academic Reps, so do sign-up HERE by 30 May! If you would like to nominate your coursemate, email secretary@ic-singsoc.net and we will contact them.
It's the last week for you to order your copy of Retrospect 2016, and you can do so HERE! Collection will be during Singsoc Farewell Party on 20 May, 7pm onwards at EEE 5.09.
Team Sojourn 2016 has been assembled, and Sojourn will take place from 12-14 Aug 2016 at Sentosa and Aloha Changi. Details for our first meeting will be sent at a later date, but meanwhile you can start welcoming our incoming freshers by inviting your juniors (and yourselves) to our ICSS Freshers 16/17 FB group HERE!

P.S. Today is Maria Agnesi's birthday! Agnesi was an Italian mathematician, philosopher, theologian and humanitarian. She was able to speak 7 languages by the age of 11, and was the first woman to write a mathematics handbook and the first woman appointed as a Mathematics Professor at a university.

1. Singsoc Farewell Party
As the end of the academic year (and exams!) approaches, it is once again time for our Singsoc Farewell Party – to make those bitter farewells sweet and memorable. Relive memories and recall your journey in Singsoc together with everyone before we bid goodbye to our home away from home.
SFP will be held on the 20 May 2016 - don't forget to sign up HERE now! (so we can gauge the amount of food needed!)
Everyone is welcomed so join us to show some love to our graduating seniors and exchange students! There'll be AMAZING prizes to be won and GREAT food if you need further incentive to come down!

3. Calling Scripts for Major Event 2017
Hello everyone!!
A big thank you to all who have come forward and shared their amazing stories and scripts!! The first deadline has just passed, but we would like to give everyone interested a fair chance to write their script during this busy period. Thus, we are opening the floor again to any interested scriptwriters. If you are interested in writing a script for Major Event 2017, do give us a shout out by 12 June 2016. We hope to work with you and make your script come alive on stage!

4. Academic Reps
Hey everyone!
We are still looking for Academic Reps for 2016-17! The deadline for signing up is 30 May 2016, which is 2 weeks from now! As an Academic Rep, you will be the official point of contact for the incoming batch of freshers in your course. You will also be expected to attend the Pre-Departure Talk on 9 July 2016, at Furama Riverfront Hotel, Venus Ballroom to interact with them!
To everybody who has signed up so far, thank you! As of now, the following courses do not have any nominees for Academic Reps:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Geology/Geophysics
