Hi everyone!

Hope you have enjoyed your Easter break so far!

In this week's Kaya and Toast, look out for Take a Break, Have a Kit Kat! This event, to be held on 3rd May (Saturday) from 9am to 12pm, is organised for all of us to enjoy a day's break from studies with fellow friends at Hyde Park. Do sign up and join us in a day of fun, sports, games and great company!


In addition, the annual SingSoc Farewell Party will be held on 23rd May (Friday) from 7pm to 10pm at EEE 509. Join us in bidding farewell to our dear seniors and fellow friends through fun and games, as well as a catered dinner!

We would also love to hear from you about Major Event 2015. Your opinions matter to us! Chip in your ideas and help us to fill up a short poll which promises to take less than 2 minutes :) Lastly, the sign-up to be OGLs for Sojourn 2014 will soon be open, so watch this space!

1. Take A Break, Have A Kit Kat!

Need a break from mugging for your dreaded finals and not getting enough of the warm sunshine of Spring? Well, then Take A Break, Have a Kit Kat! Look forward to getting off those textbooks and laptops to enjoy a few hours of sun and games at our annual event at Hyde Park. Why not take a few hours off those study timetables to keep in shape or hang out with your fellow friends after hours of being cooped up in the library!

Details are as follows:

Date: 3rd May 2014

Time: 9am to 12pm

Venue: Old Soccer Pitch at Hyde Park

For those who have been itching to get out and get active, there will be various sports going on during the event. While those who seek a less strenuous and a more serene break, feel free to bring along card games to share with your friends. Either way, it's guaranteed to be a much needed break from all that cramming and studying.

2. SingSoc Farewell Party

Are you graduating? Are you interested in getting to know some of your graduating seniors? Or do you just want to take a break from your revision and have a nice meal while listening to one of our many SingSoc talents croon it out? If so, join us for our annual SingSoc Farewell Party and see off friends or even just schoolmates who are moving on to newer things in life. 3. Major Event 2015

Hello everyone!

We would like to hear your suggestions for Major Event 2015! While ME for the past few years have been musicals, it can be up for a change for 2015! As long as you have a great idea, do suggest it to us in the poll. Of course, if you're still up for a staged production, do indicate your interest in the roles available in the poll as well!

Hey everyone! Summer is drawing near and many of you are preparing to return to Singapore. If you have enjoyed your time in Sojourn 2013: Odyssey and want to make a difference in the world to your juniors’ lives in London, why not sign up to be an OGL this year? There are various roles to apply for and both seniors and current freshers alike are welcome.
