2. Senior's Farewell Party (14 May 2011)

The Senior's Farewell Party is going to be held on 14th May!

All members of ICSS are welcome to come down for a night of fun with the graduating batch! There'll be games, entertainment, and an opportunity to win some rather interesting prizes.

The inaugural Iron Chef Imperial event will also be held during the Senior's Farewell Party, so put on your aprons, whip out your spatulas and dust off your recipe books, because every one who brings a home-cooked dish is eligible for the prize.

The graduating batch will be the guest judges for the night, so make sure you do your best to entertain them that night, as they'll be the ones deciding if you go home with the title of Iron Chef Imperial.

The roles of the Incredibles will be unveiled on the night of Senior's Farewell Party, so if you're eagerly awaiting the news, you know where to be!

3. ICSS Major Event 2012

Our Major Events Officer, Yi Jing has something to say:

This week marks the starting of a new term and sadly to say, the term of intense mugging. While trying your best to find your data sheet among the sea of paper, why don’t you take a break? Have a kitkat and think about the fun and joy of the Major Event next year!

Next year, we are planning to do a sub-event in addition to our Major Event to generate publicity for ICSS as well as Major Event itself. Something different, something more creative... Maybe something like the agar-agar that our seniors did! If you have any ideas such as constructing our Singapore island with Lego bricks, breaking the record for the most number of people mugging at Queen Lawn in the bitter winter, or simply making a gigantic mosaic out of the different types of coffee we have in Singapore, please feel free to spam my email inbox.

For those who have enjoyed our major production this year, fret not - the musical is here to stay. However, we would need your creative juices to help get our production preparation rolling! I am looking for themes for the production: it could be anything ranging from family to love to friendship to vengeance. If you have any themes, ideas or simply suggestions to help us improve, please feel free to email me at majorevent@ic-singsoc.net.

Happy mugging and may you have the best exam results! :)

5. dBay Auctions: A new initiative to connect ICSS buyers and sellers!

Packing to go back home for summer but realised you have too much stuff lying about? Maybe it's that rice cooker that became redundant cos your housemate's was better. Or perhaps it's that useless textbook you bought cos everyone had one. Maybe it's even that set of dumb bells that you bought on impulse cos you felt guilty after eating too much junk food. Whatever the case, we've all been in that dilemma before and have resorted to throwing lots of things away because you did not know if anyone wanted to buy them off you.

Not anymore! Presenting to you...

~~~
dBay Auctions (http://dbay.isgreat.org)
A platform to connect buyers and sellers together!
~~~

It's super simple to use, absolutely free to advertise, plus there's no security threat because there's nothing sensitive being transmitted at all.

Seniors are selling tons of things for almost nothing, so do visit and grab an unbeatable offer!

Save the Earth. Sell to juniors.

- David
