Hello there!

We're finally in February, the much-anticipated month of ME! Thank you to everyone who has been putting in so much effort into rehearsals! If you aren't involved in Major Event, do consider coming down to support us by buying tickets from anyone involved or online. 😁

In the final event of our term, the 37th Exco will be holding our Annual General Meeting to wrap up the events in the past year, as well as conduct leadership hustings for the 38th Exco. Do read on for more details about our AGM, and for details on leadership hustings if you're considering running for committee!

The Ministry of Home Affairs will be holding a career and networking session on Sunday, 16 Feb. If you're interested, do remember to RSVP using their sign-up link below!

Still craving for more cheap musicals? The 37th Exco is glad to announce a bonus musical outing this spring term! We're going to watch Everybody's Talking about Jamie, so read on for more details if you're interested and sign-up when the the link goes live.

1. ICSS AGM/Leadership Hustings

ICSS would be holding an Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2020 to conclude and review what the 37th Exco has done in our term. The details of the AGM are as follows:

Date: Wednesday, 4 March 2020
Time: 1300 - 1800 (including Election hustings)
Venue: Skempton LT 201 (TBC)

Free lunch is provided for all registered participants, provided that you register on this form (tinyurl.com/icssagm2020) by Friday, 21 February 2020, 2359 hrs to indicate that you’ll be attending.

Please note that ICSS AGM is a member-exclusive event. Hence, please purchase your membership at tinyurl.com/icusingsoc if you wish to attend by 2 March 2020, 2359 hrs. (Not to be confused with the sign-up deadline!)

In addition, hustings for the leadership elections will be held during the AGM. Each candidate will be presenting their speeches and vision for ICSS to the members.

2. ICSS Leadership Elections

Hi everyone, election season is here!

Starting today, ICSS would be kickstarting the election season in conjunction with the wider, Union-led Leadership Elections 2020. From now until 28 February, you have a chance to nominate yourself for a position in the 38th ICSS Executive Committee!

In ExCo, you can seek to implement any changes to enhance your experience in ICSS at Imperial, continue the legacy of those before you as well as take good care of your fellow Singaporeans. So if you love ICSS, this is the chance for you to step up and run for elections!

3. ME 2020 Ticket Sales

"What does it take to build an inclusive society, and how much do we really know about those we judge? Leave your prejudices behind, and see our home from another side."

Imperial College Singapore Society is proud to present Major Event, our annual musical production written, composed and performed by members of the society.

Through moments emotional and comedic, this year's musical, Under Construction, explores what it takes to build an inclusive society and the roles that we all play, intentionally and otherwise.

5. Everybody's Talking about Jamie

Hey everyone!

What’s better than one musical outing a term? Two musicals that is! Because of how enthusiastic you all are for musicals, we’ve decided to double the fun this term. On March 2nd (Monday), we will be going to the musical- Everybody’s Talking About Jamie!

Based on a true story, this coming-of-age story is loud and proudly original. You will laugh and cry as you watch this young teenage boy learn to come to terms with and embrace his sexuality. Nominated for multiple awards, this musical is a must-watch for all theatre lovers.

We hope you are talking about Jamie too, because we all are. Below are more event details:
