2. ICSS Christmas Party 2020
Hi everyone! We understand that this Christmas might not be the most ideal one
for many of you, so ICSS has decided to bring Christmas to you! Do join us on the
23 December 2020, 12:30PM (GMT)/8:30PM (SGT) and we assure you a fulfilling, relaxing and enjoyable afternoon/night!
This year’s Christmas Event will consist of three parts:

Secret Santa Exchange
-
Christmas Party
-
Games/Karaoke/Movie screening
Parts 2 and 3 will be both held on
23 December.
1.
Pre-Event Secret Santa Exchange (Signup by 16 Dec)
You will be allocated a “secret santa” as well as being one if you sign up. The
budget for the gift is ideally around $10-$15/ ÂŁ8-10. The home address of your recipient will be made known to you for you to mail/send the present. More details regarding information gathering are found in the form.
* You must consent to putting your information online. However, only your secret santa will be able to see your home address, everyone else will not be able to. The Exco will not be keeping your addresses. Please fill the form by
16 December 2020 if you wish to participate in the exchange.
2.
Christmas Party
This section will be focusing on participating in Christmas-related activities
as a society. The activities include games, breakout rooms, and other fun activities!
3.
Games/Karaoke/Movie Screening
By indicating your choices of games in the form, the Exco will allocate you and
other players into games that you have in common. Genres include MOBA, FPS, Board/Card games (eg chess/mahjong). Alternatively, if you would rather chill and talk to others, you can opt to watch a movie screening or sing karaoke with your friends! This section
will be held on Discord, and we will send a guide to you just in case you are not familiar with the platform. The game/activity you choose in the form is not final, as we will be looking at everyone’s interests and finalising the games/activities.

3. ICSS OGM 2020
Hello everyone!
A friendly reminder that the sign ups for ICSS's Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) is still open! This year has been a year filled with uncertainty (for a lack of a better word), and as such,
the 38th Executive Committee would like to use this time and platform as a chance to look back at our past events and update members on our future plans. As such, we encourage everyone to sign up and drop by if you are free. In addition, you can also ask us
your burning questions regarding how things are being run, and we will be more than happy to clarify and clear your doubts and queries.

4. Major Event
Greetings everyone, the long awaited
Major Event (virtual) is scheduled to be held on Saturday,
27 February 2021. Major Event is a significant and traditional event dear to many of us. With a physical musical no longer feasible, the 38th ICSS Exco hopes to keep this legacy going
and have decided to bring ME online in a completely different format.
ME 2021 is a great chance for ICSS members to know each other on a more personal level and step out of their comfort zone amidst the busy schedules. Come showcase your hidden talents to other ICSS members as well as win attractive prizes! You may choose to
form your own groups (up to 5 people) to perform or go solo although group performance is highly encouraged. If you do not have your own group but would like to join one, do indicate in the form and we can help to allocate you into one. For those who would
like to form their own groups, you may choose to invite friends who are non-ICSS members to perform although each group would be allowed a maximum of 2 non-ICSS members. Should you require guidance in singing or playing your own music, we have our very own
directors to assist and guide you along the way.
Format:
Groups may choose to conduct their own practices live or over virtual platforms. All participants must submit their official video recording (5 - 10mins) of their performance by
24 February 2021 which will be played on the actual day. Audiences (only ICSS members) will have the chance to vote for their favourite performance. The votes will be taken into account
for awards such as "ICSSPopular", "ICSSTalented", etc. Their performances will be evaluated by a panel of friendly judges as well as the voting by the audience, so do get your friends to tune in and vote!
