I wonder if any of you realised there was no Kaya and Toast last week? I bet most of you didn't! This will be the second last KnT of this term, and the final one will be in two weeks' time so stay tuned! Haha anyway, in this week's KnT, do look out for one entry from Contact Singapore below! And do remember that applications for the Most Outstanding Singaporean Award (MOSA) are still open, you can nominate yourselves or your friends and win a $1000 prize!Congrats to those who have finished exams... and to the rest who are still hanging in there (like me, T_T), jiayou, the end is near!

Contact Singapore is pleased to advise that the annual Careers@Singapore Event for students who are studying overseas is confirmed for 6th July 2013. The event features 20 employers in the public and private sectors across different industries in Singapore as well as a series of discussion forums where employers will be sharing insights about career pathways and options.
Two mid-term scholarships are also on board for for this session.
1. The SgIS scholarship for Overseas Singaporean Undergraduate Students is being offered by some of the finest enterprises in Singapore’s strategic sectors in collaboration with the Singapore Government. The scholarship is open to all Singaporeans who are currently pursuing their undergraduate studies overseas. For more information, please visit: www.singaporeindustryscholarship.sg
2. The National Infocomm Scholarship (NIS) is targeted at the ICT majors. The NIS mid-term overseas scholarship is new and the 1st round of application will open in late 2013 – early 2014 tentatively. Companies that IDA works with for NIS include, Accenture, Barclays Capital, DBS, Continental Automotive, UOB, ST Electronics, IBM, Fujitsu, etc.

Candidates who are unable to attend the event in person but would like to be considered by any of the participating organisations are encouraged to apply for the positions advertised. Participants and early registrants stand a chance to win one of two travel vouchers worth S$1000 each and one of 40 Gallup’s Clifton Strengthfinders assessment tool respectively.
Applications for the Most Outstanding Singaporean Award (MOSA) organized by the Imperial College Alumni Association of Singapore (ICAAS) is now open!
The primary purpose of MOSA is to identify and recognize the Most Outstanding Student who has rendered outstanding services to Imperial College Singapore Society (ICSS), the Singapore community in UK, and the larger student community at Imperial College London. The candidate shows leadership, exhibits merit, displays integrity, and has an outstanding character. From 2010 onwards, the MOSA carries a S$1000 prize. If you wish to apply or nominate someone, kindly email mosa@ic-singsoc.net and we will provide you with more details regarding the application procedure.
Eligibility:- Applicant must be enrolled at Imperial College London.
- Applicant can be a final-year undergraduate or graduate student.
- Applicant must be Singapore citizen.
- Applicant cannot be currently on the ICSS Exco.
Notes:
- ICSS will collect all nominations and shortlist 3 candidates for ICAAS by 30 June.
- The shortlisted candidates must be available for interview in Singapore by the ICAAS Award Committee in August.
- The decision made by the ICAAS Award Committee is final.
- The award will be presented to the winner at the ICAAS Annual General Meeting in September.
