Hi everyone!

The academic year has ended! It's been a year of ups and downs, and while we've all been through our fair share of worries and troubles, I sincerely hope that at the end of the day, we have all enjoyed a worthwhile and fruitful year (: For those of you who are back in Singapore now... it's good to be home, isn't it!

This summer term will be another busy one (as usual), with the freshers coming in... do look out for more details on our summer activities such as Pre-Deprture Talk, Sojourn and UKBound next week!

 1. Sale of Second-Hand Books

2. Post-Grad Looking for Accommodation Flatmates

Yisin, a Singaporean girl who will be heading to Imperial College this summer for a one-year post-grad course, is currently looking for flatmates (preferably girls) to share accommodation with around college area. Details are as follows:

Duration: One year, preferably from end August 2013 to July 2014
Preferred Area: Within walking distance from school or not more than 30 mins away from school (via public transport)
Rent: About £150-£190 per week
Others: Preferably with girls; single room preferred.

3. Hwa Chong Undergraduate Forum

End July this year, Hwa Chong will be organizing an undergraduate forum for current students who are interested in furthering their studies in the UK. This forum comprises of a briefing by the Hwa Chong ECG Unit for the first hour, followed by a sharing session held by alumni studying in the UK, and will last for 2 hours only, from 4 to 6pm on the 31st of July. 

Hwa Chong and HCOSG is cordially inviting all willing UK alumni, and those passionate about their studies in the UK, to share their wonderful experiences with their juniors. The structure of the sharing session will be in the form of small group interactions, where there will be ideally a mix of current UK students and our interested juniors. Please note that the alumni representing each university will be allocated one classroom venue each. So if you would like to show how great your university is, this is the best chance you have!

We would like to enlist help from all HCI alumni in Imperial. Please drop a message to Kay Yun at liankayyun@gmail.com by 7th July with your name, academic year and email. Anyone stepping forward would be greatly appreciated!
