5. Major Event Seniors' Sign-ups
Hi everyone!
Summer’s just begun and I’m sure everyone’s having a wonderful time. Well, here’s something to get you even more excited for the end of the holidays – the preparations for our next Major Event have begun! First off, I’d like to thank everyone who submitted such great script ideas for the upcoming show. It’s been a tough decision to make and it was great to see so much enthusiasm and creativity from the get-go :)
Next up, I’m super excited to be able to announce the members who have joined the Creative Team so far to help us put this show on the road. We have Shiyao Ke as our music director, Joshua Chan and Trina Ng as our chorale directors, MiQi Lim and Yong Shen Tan as our dance directors and Eugene Kwa as our scriptwriter for this year’s play, The Infinite Wallace Young! Here’s an introduction to it in Eugene's own words:
“ A musical comedy about a musical comedy; where humour is served meta and the fourth wall is taken as seriously as cancer: it must be destroyed.
Filled with bizarre twists and absurd scenarios, THE INFINITE WALLACE YOUNG is either an admirable post-modernistic exploration of reality and truth – or just lazy writing. You decide. (Or do you?)”
Looking forward to seeing how things will play out? Get a chance to see the story unfold first-hand by signing up to take part in Major Event! Registration is now open and you can fill up the form HERE.
Even if you’ve already expressed interest in signing up verbally, please do fill up the form for our record and contact purposes. If you have any questions at all, feel free to talk to me or anyone on the creative team, or alternatively drop me an email at majorevent@ic-singsoc.net
We can’t wait to welcome you back to our Major Event family!!!
Your super-excited-for-next-Feb- already MEO,
Rasika
