1. ICSS Iron Chef Imperial competition results
Last Saturday, the Iron Chef Imperial competition was held at the Senior's Farewell Party. Those who missed the taste of home must surely have enjoyed trying out the sweet and sour pork, bak chor mee, roasted chicken wings and kueh serimuka, while those of you who were craving something sweet should have (and probably did!) tried out the tiramisu, bread and butter pudding, blondies and apple crumble. It was a hard-fought contest, which saw many of the voters scratching their heads as they tried to figure out which dish to support. In the end, pursuant to Section 49, Sub-Section 7E, Paragraph A of the Culinary Competition Act, the seniors have declared that Shi Bowen is the Iron Chef, with his braised pig trotters just edging out the competition in the number of votes. Bowen, the proud winner of the inaugural ICSS Iron Chef Imperial competition.
