1. Temasek Holdings Recruitment (Biomed Science and Medicine)

Calling all graduating students in Biomedical Science or Medicine, Temasek Holdings wants you! Representatives from the Life Sciences Investment Group will be in town on 31 May 2012 to meet interested candidates. Note that this is offer is for only Biomedical Science and Medicine students who will be graduating this year.

2. Seniors Farewell Party 2012

It's finally here... All those weeks of perfecting your culinary skills will finally come to fruition in the perfect dish. Is it enough to win the coveted Iron Chef prize? Maybe, maybe not. It all boils down to the voting on saturday, so bring all your friends, your fangirls and fanboys to support that ancient ginseng chicken recipe that has been guarded for generations!

3. Dialogue Session with DPM Teo Chee Hean

Hi everyone,

Our alumni, the Imperial College Alumni Association of Singapore (ICAAS), will be organising a dialogue session with DPM Teo this coming Summer holiday. Here are the details for the event:

Date: 25th July 2012
Time: 6:30pm
Location: Singapore Polytechnic

Cost: £10 for early bird ticket, £15 at the door

The entire session comprises dinner, followed by a speech by DPM Teo and a dialogue session on the topic: "Social Media and its Role in Shaping Society". This event is open only to Imperial students and alumni.

The last time the ICSS-ICAAS had a dialogue with DPM Teo was 15 years ago, where he launched our old society logo during the event. So this is definitely a chance not to be missed!

5. Pre-departure Fair at Singapore Polytechnic

The British Council is looking for volunteers to share their experiences about living in the UK at their British Council Booth at the Pre-Departure Fair on 22nd July at Singapore Polytechnic. As a fresher, if you had your questions answered by these wonderful helpful seniors, maybe it's time you paid it forward and joined the British Council as a volunteer too, to help the next batch of freshers on the way to the UK!
