Happy Chinese New Year everyone!

We hope that everyone enjoyed yourselves at our ICSS 35th Anniversary cum Chinese New Year Dinner which included a 10-course dinner, great singing 😉 and a comedic presentation of the Chinese Zodiac fortune predictions by our very own Feng Shui "Master", Wong Shifu.

We also sealed a time capsule that contains 35 representative items of the 35th year of ICSS which will be opened in 15 years’ time on our 50th Anniversary! Please click HERE to view photographs of the event.

AGM 2018
ICSS will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) to conclude and review the 35th leadership cycle that will be ending in March 2018.

The details of the meeting are as follows:
Date: 28 February 2018 (Wednesday)
Time: 1300 - 1700 h
Venue: Skempton 164 LT (Please note this confirmed change in venue.)

The agenda for the meeting has been sent out via email to all registered members of ICSS. If you have yet to receive the email or agenda, drop me an email at president@ic-singsoc.net so that the information can be disseminated to you.

Lunch will be catered for the event for those who register on time, so please indicate your attendance HERE by 21 February 2018. As usual, AGM is a members-only event so please purchase your membership if you intend to attend AGM.


Leadership Elections 2018
This year, the ICSS Elections will be held together with the Imperial College Union Leadership Elections 2018. Hustings for the 36th Executive Committee Elections will be conducted at the AGM.

Online nominations are now open.

The guidelines for the elections have also been sent out via email to all registered members of ICSS. Members who are interested in running for the 36th ExCo must read through the instructions carefully. Similarly, do email me if you have yet to receive the election guidelines.

Voting will be carried out online from 2 March to 9 March 2018 this year. Do take note that the right to vote in the Leadership Elections 2018 for ICSS is member-exclusive. The deadline for membership purchase will be released soon.

Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions regarding the elections process. We thank you for your utmost support and hope to see you on 28 February for AGM and elections!

Every year, the Imperial College Alumni Association of Singapore (ICAAS) accepts applications for the Most Outstanding Student Award (MOSA). The primary purpose of MOSA is to identify and recognise the Most Outstanding Student who has rendered outstanding services to the Imperial College Singapore Society (ICSS), the Singaporean community in the UK, and the larger student community at Imperial College London. The candidate should possess leadership qualities, exhibit merit, display integrity, and have an outstanding character. Since 2010, MOSA has carried a $1000 prize along with the award.
