Updates

Hello everyone!

Hope that all's been going well so far and all of you are not overloaded by school work yet! (: This week's issue of Kaya and Toast is a pretty short one...

Firstly, we are introducing a new initiative this year - Batch Wars 2014: Dota Dogfight! Gather your friends to form teams to participate! Cool huh? :D I bet so many of you play Dota at home (almost) everyday anyway, so why not participate in this and stand to win attractive prizes! Read on for more details!

Also, Who Boleh was successfully concluded on Sunday, 2nd Feb, and a great thank you to all who came down to participate and support! Great job to the Captain's ball team and Dota representatives!

In addition, look out for several messages concerning Singapore Day 2014, the Point Hope Book Prize as well as the various events organised by the other schools' Singapore societies.

That's all for this week, have a lovely week ahead! (:

Your faithful secretary,
Siming

3. Singapore Day 2014

This is a message from Singapore Day 2014:

As we are fast approaching SG Day 2014, we would like to appeal to Singaporeans living in London to participate in the House a Singaporean initiative! An event of this scale brings Singaporeans from all around the UK, as well Singaporeans from the European continent. We can expect accommodation prices to be quite hefty, so if you have a couch, or maybe even a floor to spare for another Singaporean, we would like to hear from you! As host, you can decide over which days your guests can stay, and also indicate any other restrictions you wish to have in the form here:
