P.S. Today is James Clerk Maxwell's birthday! Maxwell was a Scottish physicist whose most notable achievement was to formulate the classical theory of electromagnetic radiation, bringing together for the first time, electricity, magnetism, and light as manifestations of the same phenomenon.

2. Karanguni 2016
Hey everyone,
Thanks for the overwhelmingly positive response to our ICSS Karanguni 2016 initiative so far. We truly hope the platform has allowed Singsoc members across different batches to connect and buy/sell their items with ease amidst all the summer housing chaos!
While we eagerly await the freshers of 2016, here's an opportunity for YOU to do something totally awesomesauce! If you intend to get rid of certain household items (pots, pans, cutlery etc.) but aren't able to sell it on Karanguni, do consider donating the items to the incoming freshers to ease their transition to London life. If you're interested to donate or just to find out more, contact any of the exco members or drop admin@ic-singsoc.net an email and we'll follow up with more details on collection and distribution of these items. Your small contribution would definitely make a big difference to the incoming freshmen!
Your karanguni man,
Nathanael
