"But," you ask, "what's there to do in Bristol?"
Glad you asked! Bristol has a whole host of attractions, besides visiting your friends in Bristol University. There's the Clifton Suspension Bridge and M Shed, a museum dedicated to what it has meant to live in the region from prehistoric times to the current 21st century. There's also at Bristol, a science and technology museum, as well as the Bristol Zoo and Aquarium, both of which need no further elaboration. For a full description of what there is to do in Bristol, visit the following website: http ://visitbristol . co . uk/things-to-do/attractions
(Do note that some of these attractions will require an additional fee for entry, so be prepared!)

We have limited seats available, so register on the Google spreadsheet by 23rd Oct 2011 (Mon) to book a spot. The bus trip will cost 15 pounds per person, with ICSS members getting a 2 pound subsidy. You will receive a confirmation email by 25th Oct 2011 (next Tues) if a place on the bus is reserved for you. 8. UK Singapore Student Golf Club
Here's a message from Jun Wei, a representative from UK SIngapore Student Golf Club:
Dear fellow Singaporeans,
Want to take advantage of the cheap golf courses all around London but can’t seem to find enough kakis to make up a flight?
We know it’s not always easy to find friends who are all free for a round of golf on the same day. The UK Singapore Student Golf Club is where you can meet like-minded golfers and make new friends. We regularly play at courses close
to central London and have a friendly golf tournament planned for in the near future.
Studying in the UK presents a fantastic golfing opportunity. A round of 18 holes at a course near London can cost just £20. Even if you don’t have a golf set with you in London, you can consider buying a set online or at a local sports retailer – it can be cheaper than buying a set back in Singapore.
Membership is FREE and we warmly welcome golfers of all skill levels. We update members through email about any upcoming events we have planned. You should also join our new Facebook group “UK Singapore Student Golf Club”.
If you’re interested, just send an email to ukssgc@gmail.com with your details to join. Please leave your full name, university, year of study, course, contact number, email address and your golf handicap. Feel free to ask any questions you might have about the Club.
We hope to see you on the course soon!
