A valid NHS COVID Pass

Boarding will start at 18:30 GMT to allow more time for the checking of IDs and NHS COVID Passes.
The boat will depart punctually at 19:00 GMT.
Do not be late and prepare the documents beforehand to avoid delays.
2. NHS COVID Pass
In accordance with the new UK Government guidelines, the Christmas Boat Party will still take place, but you will need to present a valid NHS COVID Pass to board.

To get the NHS COVID Pass, you will need a negative LFD/ART or PCR COVID-19 test result taken within the past 48 hours (from Thu 16 Dec 2021 at 23:00 GMT onwards).
You can book a free PCR test from the College at
https://c19-react.imperial.ac.uk/ (subject to availability).
If you prefer to take an LFD/ART test, make sure you have spares at home, by ordering or collecting a free pack of 7 LFD/ART tests from NHS at
https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests, or collect a pack from the College.
Next, download the NHS App (different from the NHS COVID-19 app).
You will need to enter your NHS number.
If you are an international student and have paid your immigration health surcharge (IHS), you will have an NHS number regardless of whether you are registered at any GP surgery.
If you do not know your NHS number, you may contact Imperial College Health Centre.
You may be asked to verify your identity, which consists of submitting a copy of one of the following types of IDs:
-
Passport
-
UK driving license (full or provisional)
-
European driving licence (full)
-
European national identity card
You will also need to submit a recording of yourself saying 4 randomly generated numbers.
If you are completing this verification in place of entering your NHS number, your details must match those of the GP surgery at which you have registered.
Attempt to log in to the app as soon as possible, as this verification process may take time.
If you did a PCR test, the test result will be automatically updated in the app.
If you did a LFD/ART test at home, you will need to report the result at
https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result.
You can then access your NHS COVID Pass through the NHS App.
Please make sure the NHS COVID Pass is valid for the entire duration of the Christmas Boat Party.
It must only expire after Sat 18 Dec 2021 at 23:00 GMT.
3. Gift exchange
A good budget range for the gift your are preparing is £5-£10. The gift exchange will take place on the boat.
We will collect the gift you prepared, if you have signed up for the gift exchange, and pass you a token to redeem the gift someone else prepared for you.
🎁
4. Drink tokens
In the Christmas spirit of sharing, we are giving everyone not one, but two free drink tokens.
You will be able to exchange them at the bars for two drinks of your choice.
5. Dress code
You will not have to dress formally.
Just wear something warm and comfortable (and preferably in line with the Christmas theme).
If you have any questions regarding the event, or any issues obtaining your NHS COVID Pass, please kindly reply to this issue of The Kaya & Toast Times.
