Applications for the
Point Hope Book Prize are now open! Here are more details on what this meaningful award is all about:
Point Hope is the philanthropic arm of one of the first private equity firms in Asia with an integrated philanthropy programme, focusing on education, healthcare, and humanitarian aid. Scholarships and bursaries have been awarded to top undergraduate and postgraduate students at leading universities. Point Hope has also been supporting cancer research at the National Heart and Lung Institute at the Royal Brompton Hospital in the United Kingdom and has frequently donated to Médecins Sans Frontières, also known as Doctors Without Borders.
This is the sixth year in which Point Hope will be awarding Book Prizes to deserving members of the Malaysian and Singaporean Society at Imperial College London. Book Prize winners will receive
£500 as well as a
one-week internship during the summer break for an introduction to the
private equity and fund management profession.
