Hey everyone!

I hope everyone's settling in well and enjoying the cool weather!

To kick off the new academic year, ICSS will be holding our annual Hyde Park Picnic! Get together with other ICSS members on 14 October 2017, from 1500 - 1700 at the Old Football Pitches @ Hyde Park, and have fun over sports, games and food!

For even greater fun, join our ICSS Ski Trip held at the Tignes Ski Resort from 16 - 23 December 2017! For £549 (+£5 for non-ICSS members), you will get return transport via coach, daily buffet-style meals, UCPA accommodation and much more! No experience is required! Sign up HERE by 10 October 2017 now! Feel free to email vicepresident@ic-singsoc.net for any queries.

Following much excitement, Major Event 2018 is finally beginning! Sign-ups close on 8 October 2017 so sign up HERE soon! The cast and chorale auditions/dance and props introductory sessions will be held on 12 and 13 October 2017 while Mix and Mingle will occur on 18 October 2017. Those interested in cast, chorale and dance will receive further information via email or phone. Do email majorevent@ic-singsoc.net for any queries!

Interested in a career with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB)? Applications for the Associate Programme (2017 and 2018 graduates) and Summer Internship (penultimate year students) are now open! Click HERE to apply! 1. Hyde Park Picnic

Hello!

I hope you all had a great summer holiday and enjoyed your first week of school :) I hope you’re not burnt out from meeting people just yet because the annual Hyde Park Picnic is coming up!! Hyde Park Picnic is the first ICSS event held in London to kick off the new academic year. It is a session where ICSS members get together to catch up and have fun over sports, games and food!!

Here are the details for this year’s HPP:

Venue: Old Football Pitches @ Hyde Park

2. Ski Trip 2017

Hey everyone!!!

I hope all of you are coping well with the summer heat. If you are already missing winter, here’s something freezingly exciting to look forward to this coming winter holiday! The annual ICSS ski trip details are now out, and specially arranged to ensure you have a splendid winter holiday!

This year, ICSS will be heading to the slopes of Tignes for a week of fun, snow and excitement! The package includes return transport via coach, daily buffet-style meals, UCPA accommodation and much more!

Details are as follows:
Date: 16 – 23 December 2017 (Saturday – Saturday) (Coach to depart ICL on 15th night)
Venue: Tignes Ski Resort
Price: £549 (+ £5 for non-ICSS members)

Don’t worry if it’s your first time skiing or snowboarding, because the huge variety of slopes (access to both Tignes and Val d’lsere included; how worth is that!) and instruction lessons for all skill levels will definitely prepare you well to brave the slopes and get some cool videos of yourself.

Feeling excited about the trip already? You can immediately sign up HERE by 10 October 2017 based on a first come first serve basis (ICSS members are given priority), and you will be one step closer to your dream winter holiday. 3. Major Event 2018 Sign-ups

Hey everyone!!

To our freshers, welcome to London, and to our seniors, welcome back! Now that we’ve all said goodbye to Singapore’s summery warmth and settled into our second homes here in London, I’m so excited to announce that Major Event is finally beginning!

Here are some important dates for you to take note of over the next few weeks:
Closing of sign-ups: 8 October 2017 (today!)
Cast and Chorale auditions/ Dance and Props Introductory sessions: 12 and 13 October 2017
Mix and Mingle: 18 October 2017

If you have yet to sign up to take part, you can do so HERE! Please note that once the signups have closed, all those who have indicated their interest in cast and chorale will receive an email informing them of their slot and additional information for the auditions. Those interested in dance will be contacted separately.
