1. Seniors' Farewell Party 2009 - FINAL CALL

From lending us their notes to passing on their homes for rental, our seniors have done so much in helping us fit into life in London. Without them, there will not be the comforts that we enjoy right now. We would like to invite all of you take time out for your (busy busy) schedules to come down and give them one fantastic farewell!

Why not come together and challenge your senior/junior to a game of ProEvolution Football or Pikachu Volleyball?! Watch as the loser will be given his/her just desserts!

This year's SFP will be held on 16th May 2009 (this coming Saturday) , 2.30pm at the Union Dining Hall. It will be an afternoon filled with good food, games and entertainment. And what's more, it's FREE!

This event is not only dedicated to members in the last year of their Undergraduate, Masters and PhD studies, but also to exchange students who will be returning home in summer.

To those mentioned above, if you would like to attend, please RSVP with Jasmine at jasmine.liu08@imperial.ac.uk latest by 12th May 2009 (Tuesday). We've got a surprise waiting.......

As a form of appreciation, we would like to invite all juniors to contribute food for the event as this will be a potluck event. Please kindly email Dexuan at hong.dexuan@hotmail.com by 13th May 2009 if you would like to do so, and tell him the food that you will be bringing.

In addition, there will be programme booklets from Ah Yum! up for grabs. Everyone has worked so hard for Major Event 2008, and this booklet represents the fruit of our labour.
So come on down and participate in this fun-filled Saturday afternoon!

2. Cooking Competition - Contestants Needed!!!

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN COOK?

WANNA SHOW THE WORLD YOUR HOKKIEN MEE OR CHENDOL?

Come display your superb culinary skills at Seniors' Farewell Party 2009!!

This year, there will be a cooking competition at the SFP. The competition is divided into two sections: main course and dessert. Food will be judged by everyone who eats it and the winner will be decided by an exciting round of voting!

The MASTER CHEF will receive a mystery prize, courtesy of the 27th Executive Committee!

So come on! Anyone can join! Groups or individuals are welcomed!

Interested participants, please email Dexuan at
hong.dexuan@hotmail.com by 13th May 2009 with your contesting dish.
