The importance of maintaining good relations with foreign countries in this day and age cannot be understated, and our country's continued efforts to foster international diplomacy are admirable. It is truly inspiring to see such a prominent figure representing Singapore on a global stage, especially given that Mdm President is the first female president in Singapore's history. The precedent she has set serves to encourage young girls to unflinchingly pursue roles in largely male-dominated industries such as politics.
