ICSS is partnering with AIG yet again to provide the
AIG Student Assist Plan! Due to an increase in claims, there has been a change in policy within AIG such that the
10% discount applies
only to new applications and
not for renewals.
However, if the
start date for your insurance policy last year was in
August/early September and you're only
departing Singapore at least 7 days after that date, you can submit a fresh application form through ICSS, and we will try our best to still get the 10% discount for you. If you'd like to check your policy start date, do contact me via email or text (
president@ic-singsoc.net)!
Check out this
LINK for more details regarding the insurance plan and its coverage. Do take note that by submitting the application form, you are consenting to AIG contacting you strictly for personal financial planning purposes. If you would like to opt-out of this, do let us know when you submit your application form.
To apply for the plan and quality for the 10% discount, please print out the
application form, fill it in and email it to me (
president@ic-singsoc.net) by
25th August.
Do NOT fill in the online application form as you will not qualify for the 10% discount.
Please include the following details in your email:
Email Subject: AIG Student Assist Plan (Name)
Year of study for AY2018-2019
Whether you want to opt out from being contacted by AIG
On behalf of AIG, we would like to emphasize that the
Core Plan does not cover Sickness Medical Expenses, only
Accident Medical Expenses. However, there are Optional Benefits (Optional Plans A, B or C, on top of the core plan) at an additional cost that will cover both Accident
and Sickness Medical Expenses. More information can be found on pages 2 and 3 of the brochure.
If you have any questions regarding the AIG Student Assist Plan, you can email Mdm Ng at
layhoon@aia.com.sg.
Hope you all have a well-deserved break and a great summer ahead!
With regards,
