Hi everyone,

Take a quick note of the details of the Christmas Party! It's happening on Saturday, the 8th of December at EEE 509A/B from 7 pm to 9.45 pm. Steep yourself in the UK culture and enjoy the reunion with your family members in SingSoc! We will also be holding the annual Iron Chef competition then, so don't miss out the chance to be crowned the Iron Chef of SingSoc!

We're also still looking for your opinion on where to go for both Spring Trip and the Spring Musical! Submit your suggestions to Ting Wei and Qian Wen respectively and look out for further details on Facebook.

The UKSSC AGM results are also out! Congratulations to the new committee of UKSSC!

And finally, in our careers section, look out for opportunities with Learning Lab. I'm sure most of you will be well-experienced for the job.

1. Musical Outing - Wicked

A quick reminder, here are the details for the second outing to those who have a place:

2. Autumn Trip

A reminder to those who have signed up and paid for the trip, please do not be late. The bus will leave punctually at 0800 (we are meeting at 0745 to take attendance!) and if you happen to miss the bus, there will be no refunds made!

3. Christmas Party

Hello everyone!

The annual Christmas Party is coming again! The details are as follows:

Date: Saturday, 8th Dec 2012
Venue: EEE 509A/B
Time: 1900-2145

It promises to be a night of fun and stomach-bloating feasting. Bring your favourite dishes to participate in the annual Iron Chef competition to win great prizes. You can also participate in mass games such as Human Bingo and Relay with Kisses (hint: eat-all-you-can) to win attractive prizes! 



Attendees are also encouraged to come with a gift (<£5, or anything you want to give away) to participate in the Mad Santa Gift Exchange. We will also be having our very own chorale team to lead the Christmas carolling sessions.

Feel the R(eindeer)-Ratedness in the event? Then come down on the 8th for the SingSoc Christmas Party! As usual, members will get a free polaroid. All members are encouraged to come with your own Christmas-y headgear. First 50 member signups get a free Santa or Reindeer hat!

4. Spring Trip

Hi all!

ICSS is looking to organise a Spring Trip within February next year! In order to better cater to members' needs, the choice of destination is open to suggestions from the society. Take note that suggested destinations must be within the UK and should preferably be within 3 hours coach ride from London! Send your suggestions to eventsofficer1@ic-singsoc.net, and all possible suggestions will be put up for a society-wide poll closer to Spring Term for the final decision. I look forward to hearing from all of you!

5. Spring Musical Outing Suggestions

Due to popular demand, ICSS will be organising a Spring musical session! Submit your suggestions to which musical you would like to attend to Qian Wen at eventsofficer2@ic-singsoc.net. Suggestions will be again put up for a poll closer to the date in Spring. We look forward to hearing your suggestions!

7. Learning Lab Opportunities

The Learning Lab is recruiting individuals as Specialist Teaching Associates and Management Associates. Recent graduates and undergraduates looking for internships are welcome to apply.
