Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM)


Dearest Members,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce to you the resignation of Ms Seraphina Rong, Secretary of the 32nd ICSS Executive Committee.

The official resignation letter can be found here. I sincerely hope that everyone can read the letter to understand the difficult situation that Seraphina is going through. In view of the vacant position of Secretary, pursuant to Section 4 Article 19 of our constitution:

1.    Any member of the Committee who wishes to resign shall submit an official letter to the Committee and the letter shall be made public.
2.    A by-election of the vacated post shall be conducted pursuant to article 13(1) of this Constitution.


An Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) will be held to conduct a by-election. The details are as follows:

Date: 19th March, Wednesday
Time: 1300 - 1345 hrs
Venue: LT3, Roderic Hill Building (access via ACE Extension)

This is a short but really important meeting as it concerns the Exco and the future of ICSS. As with all general meetings, it can only proceed when a minimum quorum is reached, and we cannot do this without your support. I sincerely urge all of you to come, as members, to elect the secretary who will serve you in the year ahead. Please do sign up for the meeting here.  

I also encourage all members who feel for this society and are willing to serve to step up and answer the call. As per elections during AGM, those who are interested in running for the position would require nominations and submission of manifestos. The full nomination procedure can be found here.
