1. Sojourn 2009 and BBQ! 
Sojourn 2009 will be held from 28th to 30th August 2009 (Friday - Sunday) at Costa Sands Resort, Sentosa. It will be a fun-filled weekend for EVERYONE!! We'd like to invite all of you to come down and soak in the atmosphere. You might even get a chance to participate!
There will also be a BBQ dinner on 29th August 2009 (Saturday) from 6.30pm onwards.
YUMMILICIOUS barbecued and staple/non-barbecued foods will be served. This includes chicken wings, sausages, otah, satay, sambal stingray... This is an excellent opportunity to savour BBQ food in the company of friends and get to know more freshers. So do not hesitate, join in the fun at a price of just $10!!

3. Important Sports Announcement - Warwick Summer Games 2009Warwick has announced that it will be organising Warwick Summer Games this year. The details are as follows:

4. Asia Investment Banking Conference (AIBC) 2009The "Asia Investment Banking Conference (AIBC) 2009" is an event initiated by students of the London School of Economics (LSE) and Singapore Management University (SMU). This 2-day conference will be held on 23-24 September 2009 in Singapore, at the SMU campus. The AIBC is focused on the financial services industry, specifically investment banking, in the Asian market. The program will consist of keynote speeches, interactive workshops and discussion panels conducted by reputable senior speakers.
Keynotes will be delivered specifically by Richard Campbell-Breeden (Head of Asia M&A Goldman Sachs), Glenn Schiffman (Head of Asia-Pacific Investment Banking Nomura), Matthew Hanning (Head of Asia-Pacific Investment Banking UBS), Anthony Steains (Senior MD The Blackstone Group), and two other very senior representatives from Temasek Holdings and JPMorgan. Other institutions that will be represented at the event include - Lazard, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, The Carlyle Group, Linklaters, Clifford Chance, PwC, Ernst and Young, Oaktree Capital, Bain Capital and McKinsey and Co. The conference will be covered by recognisable international media such as the FT, Bloomberg and CNBC.
Should we send down a delegation of more than 5 students to this event as representatives, a subsidized rate maybe negotiable for all participants.

5. NTUC Graduate Trainee RecruitmentNTUC Graduate Trainee Recruitment has received very encouraging response from Singaporeans in overseas universities.
The programme for their 1st intake has started and the trainees are having a great time here.

Therefore, they have decided to open up their recruitment for the 2nd intake. The programme will most likely commence early next year.
