1. Get involved in Major Event!!!

MAJOR EVENT 2008 is now underway!

It's finally beginning! Be there, or be square!

Major Event 2008 Auditions & KickStart Event
Auditions will be coming up soon! Whoever you may be, whatever committee you may be interested in, come down to find out more about YOUR show!

Programmes, Publicity, Logistics... lend me your ears!
This Major Event is YOUR event so do come and join any of the committees for this Major Event!

If you always wanted those precious fifteen seconds of fame, the Programmes committee is here. In the programmes committee you will have the opportunity to do scriptwriting, compose music, develop your acting ability or realise your vocal ability.

If creating strategies for promotions of events or formulating and producing publications is your cup of tea, the Publicity committee welcomes you with open arms.

For those who have an eye for design or decoration, and love the challenge of thinking out of the box constantly with prop design and production support, the Logistics committee is the place to be.

2. Collection of Membership Cards

Hello Singapore Society! Your membership cards for the academic year of 08/09 have arrived!

We will be distributing your cards next week from Tuesday to Wednesday so do drop by and collect your very own personalized Lifestyle London Card! Get discounts at many major restaurants and tote it around as a proud symbol of being a part of the largest Singapore student society in Europe!

Time: Lunchtime - 12.10 pm to 1.50 pm
Date: 2nd and 3rd December (Tuesday/Wednesday)
Venue: Junior Common Room

We request that each person come personally if possible for administrative purposes. In the event you cannot make it, please notify a friend to collect the cards on your behalf.

NOTE: Unfortunately, there was some problems with the first batch for those in Year 3 and above. The committee has requested for a reprint and we will get back as soon as possible. This announcement applies to all freshmen (all levels) and those in Year 2. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
 

3. SingSoc Hoodies

For those of you who have not collected your hoodies, they lie await for collection at the Junior Common Room this Tuesday and Wednesday!

Time: Lunchtime - 12.10 pm to 1.50 pm
Date: 2nd and 3rd December (Tuesday/Wednesday)
Venue: Junior Common Room

You may also make your payment/order for a hoodie then.
 

Hoodies are still available for purchase, so get them and keep yourself warm and snug this winter!

4. Wilson House Sports - 6 Dec 08

Please be reminded that there is NO Wilson House Sports this Saturday as OperaSoc has booked the place. Do support our touch rugby team and join the SFL Cup this Sat!

5. SFL Cup - 6 Dec 08 - LAST CALL FOR REGISTRATIONS!!

Hi all!!

This Saturday is the inaugural SFL Cup! It is a 4v4 beginners touch rugby tournament and REGISTRATION IS CLOSING SOON!

Here's a reminder of the details:

Date: 6 Dec 08, Saturday
Location: Hyde Park (Meet at Albert Statue)
Time: 10am to 2pm~
Registration fee: £1 per team

There has been some changes to the general rules so do take note:

1) 4 players a team - Max of 2 ex-school mens rugby players and min of 1 girl per team.
2) Individual registrations are allowed at 25p each. Contact me and I will find you a team.
3) Registration fee for team of 4 is £1.
4) Non-ICSS members allowed to take part as well but let me know first.
