2. Ah Gong Kaya and Ah Ma Hae Bi Hiam!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Hello Singaporeans!
I have signed up to run the inaugural Brighton Marathon 2010 for
WaterAid (http://www.wateraid.org/uk) In the meantime before the
event, I would like to raise 600 pounds for them.
WaterAid is an international NGO that is currently working
actively in the world's poorest regions to help people gain
access to water and sanitation. With 1.1 billion people still
lacking access to safe water and sanitation, I think it's a very
worthy cause to support.
To raise funds, I will be selling homemade KAYA and HAE BI HIAM
(Spicy dried shrimps chilli), using recipe passed down from my Ah
Gong and Ah Ma. It's for a good cause, and I don't think you
will be too disappointed by the taste!
KAYA:
http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/AQ9fpb1lkolFharq-5usMg?authkey=Gv1sRgC…
HAE BI HIAM :
http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/8d6ByhWs4VfsyhsaqkGMUQ?authkey=Gv1sRgC…
Both Kaya and Hae Bi Hiam comes in 250 cc containers. Listed
below are the prices:
1. 1 x Kaya: £3.50
2. 1 x HBH: £4.80
3. 1 x Kaya + 1 x HBH: £8.00
Yes, I know you're probably thinking, "Siao ah, the prices
so KZ, who will buy?"
In actual fact, for each container of Kaya or Hae Bi Hiam that
you buy, you are donating £3.00 (sale price - cost price) to
WaterAid.
It ONLY takes £15.00 to provide 1 person with a lasting supply
of water and safe sanitation. Just buy one less Fred Perry polo
tee, one less Onitsuka Tiger, one less Ted Baker shirt or one
less Ralph Lauren polo this Boxing Day, and you can make a BIG
difference to the lives of many people =D.
To place your orders, simply drop me a message at 07749843116
(O2) or mail me at anthony.zh(a)gmail.com. Please state your name,
mobile number and address, and the quantity that you wish to buy.
I will deliver your order to your hall or house within 2 weeks.
The kaya I make can last for 2 weeks, while HBH can last for 1
month, if not longer if kept in a fridge.
Hurry, buy now and help those people in need!
*FIRST 25 CUSTOMERS WILL GET AN EXCLUSIVE 10% DISCOUNT CARD TO
MARY TEAM'S HAIR SALON AT LISLE STREET, CHINATOWN. IT'S A
GOOD PLACE FOR ASIAN CUT!
Cheers,
Anthony
**Tasting sessions:** This Wednesday to Friday, 12.00 -
1.00pm, I will bring some Kaya and HBH for tasting. It'll be
outside LT1, ACEX building (where you had your free chicken
rice!). There will be **free bread** (not toasties,
unfortunately). If you're hungry, have nowhere to go, or would
like to place your orders, you can find me there. Hope to see you
around!

1. SCRIPTWRITERS WANTED!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Hello Everyone!
Thanks for attending the discussion for Major Event 2010 at dBs
last Wednesday and providing interesting ideas on what we should
do for next year's event.
The exco has decided that it will be a **MUSICAL** and it will
be held in *mid-march next year*!
Thus, we really need all of you to crack your creative minds and
think of a storyline for the musical. It does not have to be very
detailed, just a simple draft will do!
**The script is the key element to a musical - without it the
event cannot materialise.**
We strongly urge you guys to submit any ideas to Anne at
pickypoopoo(a)hotmail.com or Jasmine at jasmine.liu09(a)gmail.com by
this weekend. Please include your *name* and *contact number* too
so that we can contact you if needed =)
Thank you very much!

Hello everyone
Free floorball is on again at Hyde Park in front of the King
Albert statue this Wednesday at 2pm. Turnout was rather
disappointing last week and we'll need a substantial number to
start playing so call everyone you know (for freshers who
haven't got a clue what floorball is, this is a great chance to
get a free session before Notts games)!
All are welcome, whether you're Singaporean/Singsoc/neither
I'm also taking **Notts Games signups.** This year's Notts
floorball sees the end of the horrendous tennis courts we had
last year. We're moving indoors onto real wooden courts where
you won't wreck your sticks so sign up with me now!

whirlwind of characters that will leave you feeling elated, worn
out, excited and sympathetic - all before the mahjong party is
over.
There are eight lead roles, as well as a host of other colourful
characters to audition for (rapists! deaf piano teachers! chess
champions!) There's something for everyone, even if all that
tickles your fancy is miming or simply eating ice cream on stage.
Absolutely no prior theatre experience is required.

Hi all!
Touch Rugby. A sport where speed meets skills, fitness meets
finesse and guys meet girls.
Yes, Touch Rugby is a cool sport for both guys and girls and
there's a chance that we can represent Imperial College Singsoc
in the Nottingham Games.
We're having a taster/learning session for anyone of any skill
level at Freshers' Picnic. Grab this opportunity to learn a new
sport, make new friends or an excuse to shop at Lilywhites.
Sports attire recommended with boots unless you are fine with
jeans.
See you there.
Cheers,
David

Hi everyone!
My two wardrobes in London are exploding, and I've just realised
that since I'm graduating at the end of the this academic year,
I'm gong to have an even bigger problem trying to ship everything
back home! So I'm trying to sell stuff off, some of which I've
bought and never worn, through a kinda "garage sale" online =) If
you're interested, please have a look at
http://shopaholicgaragesale.blogspot.com!
Prices are all negotiable! There's more stuff, especially winter
clothing, back in London right now which I don't have photos of,
but these will go up soon once I get back next week, so please do
check back if you're interested! =)
