Dear SingSoc,
I hope this email reaches you well.
We are Imperial Marrow, a student-led branch of the Anthony Nolan charity, dedicated to saving the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders through stem cell donations and research. We regularly collaborate with societies and organizations to raise awareness and funds for this important cause.
We would love to know if you would be open to collaborating, especially as we could do with the exposure to the large audience that your society has. Additionally, as there is currently a shortage of ethnic minority and mixed-race donors in the stem cell donor register, you can see how especially important it is for us to recruit potential donors from across different backgrounds, like members of societies like yours. Therefore, we would be very grateful for this opportunity, as it only takes a couple of minutes to explain how easy it is to join the stem cell donor register and how it could save someone’s life.
If your society is open to it, we’d be excited to discuss ways we can collaborate, whether through a shoutout during an event, a quick 5-minute talk, a fundraising effort, or even helping with promotion to make it a bigger success for both of us.
Looking forward to hearing from you and brainstorming how we can work together to make a difference!
Best regards,
Imperial Marrow
