I sure hope all of you enjoyed yourselves as much as the Exco enjoyed planning the event. With the passing of Senior’s Farewell Party, we have officially drawn a closure to the last event organized for the academic year of 2009/2010. The New ICSS Website ----------------------------------------------------------------- Dear all, This week marks a new beginning for our ICSS website. With a masterstroke of genius by our tech-savvy Liaison Officer Jun Ying and a dose of feminine touch from Secretary Yu Leng, the ICSS website has taken on a fresh new look with many exciting new features! If you need information on upcoming events such as the Senior’s Farewell Party or even Sojourn details, then look no further than the ICSS website, which is located at htp://www.ic-singsoc.net <http://www.ic-singsoc.net>! It will take on the role of a one-stop information hub for all the events and news for ICSS. In addition, the website will also soon contain information for freshmen, such as the famous Sotong Guide and write-ups on the various halls of accommodation. So, you no longer need to waste your saliva on repeating all the advice you give to every single junior who comes along to ask for guidance! Just direct them to the Fresher’s section on the website and they will find all they need there. Furthermore, we have also included a Forum section, which can be easily found at http://www.ic-singsoc.net/forum. Members can post threads on anything they like! (Nothing obscene though! But viewer’s discretion is strongly encouraged.) It can be an avenue for members to organize mini events such as Frisbee sessions, potlucks and more! On top of that, the Forum section will now be the formal channel for all forms of advertisements! Members who wish to publicize any matter to the society can do so by placing it on the Forum. They can then send an advertisement *one-liner* to Yu Leng at secretary(a)ic-singsoc.net?subject=Advertisement%20on%20Kaya%20and%20Toast who will place it onto the Shoutbox for our Weekly Kaya and Toast! Change in stance of the Singapore Government re. Singaporeans voting in the UK General Election

Dear all, This might be of interest to some of you who are wondering if we are allowed to vote for the upcoming elections in UK. Two Singaporeans have enquired and have gotten the confirmation from the PMO that we are entitled to our votes here in the UK, without giving up the rights to vote back in Singapore.
