1. Seniors' Farewell Party 2009
-----------------------------------------------------------------
>From lending us their notes to passing on their homes for
rental, our seniors have done so much in helping us fit into life
in London. Without them, there will not be the comforts that we
enjoy right now. We would like to invite all of you take time out
for your (busy busy) schedules to come down and give them one
fantastic farewell!
Why not come together and challenge your senior/junior to a game
of ProEvolution Football or Pikachu Volleyball?! Watch as the
loser will be given his/her just desserts!
This year's SFP will be held on **16th May 2009 (Saturday)** ,
**2.30pm** at the **Union Dining Hall**. It will be an afternoon
filled with good food, games and entertainment. And what's more,
it's** FREE**!
This event is not only dedicated to members in the last year of
their Undergraduate, Masters and PhD studies, but also to
exchange students who will be returning home in summer.
To those mentioned above, if you would like to attend, please
RSVP with Jasmine at jasmine.liu08(a)imperial.ac.uk latest by **6th
May 2009**. We've got a surprise waiting.......
As a form of appreciation, we would like to invite **all juniors

2. Cooking Competition - Contestants Needed!!!

**SO YOU THINK YOU CAN COOK?**
**WANNA SHOW THE WORLD YOUR HOKKIEN MEE OR CHENDOL?**
Come display your superb culinary skills at **Seniors' Farewell
Party 2009**!!
This year, there will be a **cooking competition** at the SFP.
The competition is divided into **two sections: main course and
dessert**. Food will be judged by everyone who eats it and the
winner will be decided an exciting round of voting!
The **MASTER CHEF** will receive a mystery prize, courtesy of
the 27th Executive Committee!
So come on! Anyone can join! Groups or individuals are welcomed!

3. Sojourn 2009 - OGLs Needed!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
**Sojourn 2009** will be held from **28th to 30th August
2009** (Friday to Sunday) at **Costa Sands Resort**** **in
Sentosa.
We would like YOU to make Sojourn a fantastic experience for our
freshers!
The 27th Exco will be conducting **selection interviews for
Orientation Group Leaders** on **7th and 9th May
2009** (Thursday and Saturday).
Just choose 1 day and it will just be a short interview for us
to know you better.

contact number and preferred date by **1st May 2009 (Friday)**.

4. Sports Announcements

1) There will be no Wilson House sports this term as we have no
slots and besides, most of you will be preoccupied with studying!
2) There will also be no Floorball at Hyde Park this Wednesday.
3) We are looking for suggestions for post-exam activities and
some possibilities include going to Wimbledon! Do contact me at
derek.low08(a)imperial.ac.uk if any of you have any
ideas/suggestions.
4) Lastly, if any groups of you still have a burning desire for
sports even in the midst of exams, do let me know and I could
arrange something!

1. ICSS-ICASS Most Outstanding Student Awards - DEADLINE EXTENDED!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The primary purpose of MOSA is to identify and recognize the Most
Outstanding Student who has rendered outstanding services to
Imperial College Singapore Society (ICSS), the Singapore
community in UK, and the larger student community at Imperial
College London. The candidate shows leadership, exhibits merit,
displays integrity, and has an outstanding character.
* Eligibility:
Applicant must be enrolled at Imperial College London.
Applicant can be a final-year undergraduate or graduate
student.
Applicant must be a Singapore citizen.
Applicant cannot be currently on the ICSS Exco.

* Notes:
Each nomination must be proposed and seconded by ICSS members.
The shortlisted candidates must be available for interview in
Singapore by the ICAAS Award Committee in August.
The decision made by the ICAAS Award Committee is final.
The award will be presented to the winner at the ICAAS Annual
General Meeting in September.

2. Chartered Bus to Hampton Court on Singapore Day 2009

There will be a chartered bus going to and from** Hampton
Court **on the **25th April 2009** for Singapore Day. It will
be a **two-way return** bus journey.
For those volunteering with the Overseas Singapore
Unit, NO transport is provided.

Pick up and Drop off location: **Gloucester Road** **(Exact
location to be finalised)**
Departure Time: **0830** **(Departing from Gluocester Road) **
Return Time: **1645** **(Departing from Hampton Court)**

3. Sojourn 2009 - OGLs needed!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
**Sojourn 2009** will be held from **21st to 23rd August 2009**
(Friday to Sunday) at **Costa Sands Resort **in Sentosa. We would
like to ask for the members' help in making this orientation camp
a memorable one for the freshers joining us in the next academic
year.
Many members have expressed interest in becoming
an **Orientation Group Leader** by the word of mouth, why not
make it a reality?
Thus, the 27th exco would like to conduct a **selection
interview for OGLs** on **7th and 9th May 2009** (Thursday and
Saturday). Do not worry as you will only have to come for one
day.

several items used in the play still remain unclaimed. Below are
