Hello cavers, The club is back from a delightful weekend in the Welsh countryside. I think everyone had a great time exploring OFD's beautifully complex streams, galleries and climbs. The weather was entertaining<https://union.ic.ac.uk/rcc/caving/photo_archive/trips/2013-10-11%20-%20wales/Jarvist%20Moore%20Frost%20-%20Nexus4%20-IMG_20131012_105921--orig.jpg>if not the 25 degree sunshine we were hoping for. *NEXT TRIPS* The next trip is in two weeks time, the *25-27th October.* We'll be going to a different bit of Wales, staying at the CSS caving hut<http://www.chelseaspelaeo.org.uk/cottage.htm> and clambering around Agen Allwed <http://www.ogof.org.uk/agen_allwedd.html>. Come along, its only £31 for first-timers, including membership of the club. In November we'll be going North to Yorkshire and Derbyshire to have a go at deep vertical caves. This will involve the SRT (abseiling and prussiking) we teach at our tree training. Just send an email if you're interested in these trips. *Pub Meeting* We'll be in the Union Bar at 7.00pm tomorrow. We'll have a big red caving helmet on the table (or on someone's head) so it should be easy to spot us. Come and find out more about caving, our trips and expeditions.
