Dear Cavers, We've had a great year of caving so far with trips to OFD<https://www.union.ic.ac.uk/caving/wales/wales-2012-10-12.php> , Aggy <https://www.union.ic.ac.uk/caving/wales/wales-2012-10-26.php>, Yorkshire<https://www.union.ic.ac.uk/caving/yorkshire/yorkshire-2012-11-09.php> and Derbyshire<https://www.union.ic.ac.uk/caving/derbyshire/derbyshire-2012-11-23.php>. Our Winter Tour to Yorkshire<https://www.union.ic.ac.uk/caving/yorkshire/yorkshire-2012-winter-tour.php> gave us the time and space to really step up the difficulty and excitement of the trips we are doing. We are planning an Easter tour to Spain to soak up the sun between delving into the massive cave systems out there. Our next trip is coming up on the 8-10th February. We're going to the Bullpot Farm in Yorkshire. There will be some technical ropework needed, but there will be trips for all abilities and no prior experience is necessary. We will most likely be exploring the Easegill cave system, the largest in the UK. However as we're now starting to do more specialised trips, this will be the *last email* you receive from this mailing list this academic year! So if you want to be kept in the loop & come caving this year, please contact us to get put on a more general 'chatter' email list. *Our upcoming Spring Term 2013 trips are:* 8 -10th Feb Bullpot(Yorkshire) - The Easegill system - an amazing combination of ropes and free climbs with over 100km of interconnected passage and the finest streamway in Britain. Something for everyone. 22-24th Feb NPC (Yorkshire) - The three-peaks, the best vertical playground under the UK. 8 -10th Mar NPC (Yorkshire) - Return to our favourite hut, for more challenging trips. As usual we will be meeting on *Tuesdays at 7.30pm in the Union bar*. ICCC ic.caving@gmail.com
