Exciting! WINTER TOUR to Yorkshire !!! When: Friday 17/12/2021 – Thursday 23/12/2021 You do not have to be there the whole time! Lots of people choose to stay for only a few days. Where: Yorkshire (NPC) Price: The tour cost will be split after the whole tour. Total expected around £100 if you’re staying the whole time, but may vary. Membership: You need membership (£30.00)! SIGN UP: Reply to this email if you want to come!!! Please include how long you would like to stay. (Older members can just put their name and timeframe down on the accounts sheet.) You must have learned all relevant rope skills at tree training. If you have not done so yet, please come along to tree training on Wednesday between 1pm and 5pm in Princes Garden. We will meet in stores on Tuesday (14/12) at 17:00 to pack kit. You do not need any equipment of your own, we will provide everything you could possibly need in a cave. How the tour works: Winter tour is a great opportunity to do longer and more challenging caves, and in general to just do more caving. Yorkshire has a huge number of caves, so there is no risk of running out of new mud to explore. We will set off on Friday evening and return on Thursday evening. On Friday we will leave from outside Beit Halls. If you would like to travel on different days, please sort out your own transport, but we are happy to give advice and to provide lifts to nearby train stations. Because of covid (☹) we ask you to please show us a recent negative covid test before travelling (a photo of a lateral flow test is enough, but a PCR from Imperial is even better). We will stop at a shop/service station on the way to buy dinner and snacks. Most food required for the tour will be delivered to the caving hut.
