Hi everyone, Just a quick email to inform you of the coming week's events, and how to sign up for trips! Tuesday Pub meet We meet every week around 730pm at the union -- it's a great way to get to socialise and get to know members of the club in a very informal setting, and ask any questions you have about caving! Look out for a caving helmet on the table, but if you have any problems finding us just give me a ring at 07542135310. Wednesday Freshers talk and tree training We'll have our weekly tree training session at 1pm as usual in Princes Gardens (meet at Beit to collect ropes first). And for this week only, we're holding a pretty slideshow presentation just for you! 6.30pm at Meeting Room 2 at the union. We'll be telling you more about caving, what you can expect from the club, and the trips and tours we get up to throughout the year. If that's not temptation enough, there will also be free cheese and wine! Weekend trips Our first weekend trip will be to South Wales on the 14-16th Oct. Places are limited and a few freshers have already signed up, so get in touch asap if you want to come! If you can't make this weekend, don't worry, you can also sign up to other trips. We'll be running another freshers trip on 28-30th Oct, and the full calendar can be found on the club's website (http://union.ic.ac.uk/rcc/caving/) To confirm your place on the trip, you'll need to give us a £10 deposit (which is essentially your trip fee) and buy club membership (http://www.imperialcollegeunion.org/caving-46/caving-membership/product.html) As always, feel free to get in touch if you have any questions!
